A lot of speculation. Today's papers say Arshavin is staying (although he is training with Zenit now) and that Bendtner is off... maybe to Spurs! :SHOCK:
 
Crouch has a good England record and he isn't a bad striker. Why do you think he is so shit?

I really don't see how Bendtner is that rubbish. He has a good scoring record for us, particularly as he was played as a left winger for a long time. He's young and has a lot to learn, but I think he will be really good one day, better than Crouch :DD
 
I think Crouch is better than Bendtner.
Crouch is a pretty good player, but i don't like the way Redknapp uses him...he is more than just a tower...
 
i think crouch is a poor striker. his rubbish IMO. no way a world class player. Darren bent is better then Crouch and i dont even rate him that highly so for bendter to be worse then crouch says how poor Bendter really is

Just because a player isn't world class doesn't make them rubbish. I can't believe jonney is making me defend Crouch! :lol:

Yes, both Crouch and Bent are not world class, but they are damn good players...
 
Crouch is a decent footballer IMO but his goal return is shockingly bad therefore as a "Striker" he doesn't do his job. Bent not so good footballer but gets a good goal return which is what matters.
 
I'm not one to defend Bendtner, but he's been played out of position all the time! That must be frustrating for him, he can't show what he's best at, therefore I wouldn't be surprised if he really handed in his transfer request, like it's been reported.

If he's really off to Spurs, I don't see him getting much more chances than he already does at Arsenal, but he would at least be played in position.
If this deal really goes down, maybe we could have Pavlyuchenko, so Wenger can stick him in the left wing :P
