Arsenal Thread

Milan are the last team you want to be drawn up against, just ask Bayern Munich...actually theres no point asking them, they were too good for you as well.

Whoever we get now is gonna be good side, hey its the last 8 of the European Cup!!

If we draw Milan, we will be underdogs and everyone will expect Milan to progress. We can relax, play our own game and see what happens.

If we draw Villareal that gives a different kind of pressure, we will be favourites to progress and that might trip us up.

Personally I would like to see us play either Milan or Juve, cos if we get past either of them it will give us tremendous belief and there is only 1 more team in my opinion that is better than them 2 and we all know who they are!!

No point asking us either, we're too good for them as well.

haha fuck chelsea and liverpool, they not ready for european football, especialy liverpool, their a fucking joke! LOL!! liverpool had the easiest opponents out of the 3 english teams
Liverpool not ready? I know they arent as good as scousers think they are but when it comes to being ready, they were even more prepared than Milan ().

Goodness, why is it that when something glorious happens in the annals of Arsenal Football Club, we always have a number of bitter, loathing pissers make camp on our doorsteps and try to sully the atmosphere every chance they get. I mean, come on, you Mancs, are u done celebrating Carling Cup victory? What, so soon? Well, kindly shove off and sour the mood somewhere else. These are Champions League issues we are dealing with here and, as a matter of fact, we really cannot rely on u to provide any sort of constructive analysis since u are completely blinded by jealousy. Come on, shoo, out with you.

We need to ry and enjoy, as much as they would probably beat us, a couple of against Barca or Milan would be great. I don't want to win it through the back door.

I think it's good time to play Pool because they are also recovering from CL week so fatigue may affect both.

Whoever we play I really don't think you can say we will be progressing via the back door. If they have made it to the last 8 then they MUST be a decent side. There are no pushovers at this stage.

I'd like the winner of the Ajax/Inter tie.

Ajax are not the side they were and we've already beaten them this season. Inter meanwhile are a bit like Madrid, lots of ageing stars and occasional suspect defending.

Don't get me wrong, there are no easy games left but I think we would probably do best against either of these two.

Have you all heard Pardew's comments today>

I just love Arsebloggers response!

Despite our progress in the CL and being the only English club to do
so some people have to have a pop. West Ham manager Alan Pardew
<http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=361160&cc=5739> has
decided he's important enough that people might care what he thinks
and he has criticised the lack of English players in the Arsenal
team. He also says that all teams should be made include at least
three English players. I would just like to take this opportunity to
criticise the lack of non-cunts in the West Ham side. They're a
disgrace to non-cunts and I would like to propose that each team
should include at least three players who are not complete and utter
fuckbags. How do you like those apples, Pardew, you cretin?

PFA Chief Gordon Taylor
<http://www.teamtalk.com/teamtalk/news/story_page/0,7760,1766_1073490,00.html>
has also opened his big fat cunting mouth, saying "It's an English
club but not an English success."

He can go suck a leper's cock for all I care.

Look - Arsenal had a tough tie against madrid, although madrid didnt play to their potential Arsenal beat them, a great result considering Arsenals form of late.

Good luck to Arsenal in the next round, they remind me of us last year, struggling in the league but doing well in europe.

i wish everyone would stop being bitter.

Well well well, interesting draw. Vieira vs old teammates, how predictable.

I imagine he will be doing plenty of Media work between now and then.

The first leg is at Highbury but is it the Tuesday or the Wednesday?

You wonder how a player feels in a match like this, moving from a team hes played for and loved for years. To thte team that he wants to win things with , mainly the CL , how would he feel if Arsenal were the team to put him/them out tho :P

Surely. Match will be very much fixed on Vieira, on the pitch as well. Vieira, but also his old teammates will want to prove a point. I have to say this though, Vieira playing against Arsenal this season was somehow inevitable.

Tuesday the 28th I think.

bloody hell pat is back and will walk at higbury once more, hes gonna feel at home isnt he!?!?!

I bet Henry, Pires Vieira et all are having a right laugh now.

I get the feeling Vieira is gonna get a great reception at higbury.
