I hope so.. i rate Battaglia. That and Mbia are the only two DMF i've read about this month. If we move, we'll have to get Battaglia before the clausura starts.

I hope the FA investigates that assault on Manucho.![]()
well I`ll be happy for any goal keeper coming in al (droppy) has no fight to improve being the only bull for the cowsMcGregor a £4.5 million target for Arsene Wenger
Arsenal are lining up a surprising £4.5 million move for Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor as Arsene Wenger looks to take advantage of Rangers financial troubles. The deal could see Kris Boyd remain at Ibrox and with an able replacement in Neil Alexander waiting in the wings, McGregors cut price sale would not cause the amount of protests that the sale of Kris Boyd would amongst the Rangers faithful.
Although Newcastle’s Shay Given was Arsenal’s top target, McGregor is seen as a cheaper alternative for the wary Wenger. The Frenchman has had the Scottish International in his sights since last season’s Uefa Cup run and although he has lost some of his form this season, he is seen as able addition to the Arsenal side. With Wenger unimpressed with Manual Almunia and Lukasz Fabianski’s form this season, McGregor is seen as the man that could topple the Arsenal No.1 and No.2 from their perches.
With Rangers having to offload one of their key first team players in the January window for at least £3-4 million, a cut price move for McGregor who was worth £8 million to Rangers in the summer is a good bet. If the Gunners tie a deal up with Rangers to sign their custodian it would free up McGregor’s £16,000 a week wage from the Ibrox wage bill and help allievate the problems that are affecting the club off the field, with a rumoured £25 million worth of debt and Murray trying to balance the books in time before HBOS is taken over by Lloyds TSB.
Anyway, you lot deserved the win, and RVP looks properly good. How long til he hurts himself again?
Oh boy, I really want to see Arshavin at Arsenal. I dont think Wenger will buy a cb, but possibly a dmf. I just hope it's another exciting playerWhat happened to the speculations to Gokhan Inler?
Arshavin deal is looking dead then...tbh it would have been good but there are other positions we need to fill first.
ArseBlog said:Arsenal have made an offer, Zenit have rejected it. From what I'm told it seems the Russian club have been difficult during the whole process. Just when we think we're close, they add on another condition, or two, to the deal. The latest seems to be that Arsenal are expected to pay all the agent's fees for the deal which we have, rightly in my opinion, refused to do.
So as it stands the deal is dead. We have our valuation of the player, they have theirs. They want to try and squeeze every last penny out of the deal, we are refusing to be squeezed. Of course stuck in the middle of all this is the player who obviously wants to leave Zenit and play for us but between his club and his agent they're making such a move almost impossible
SkySports said:Gunner Eduardo 'ready' to return
Eduardo has said he is ready to return to Arsenal's first team after playing the full 90 minutes for the club's reserves against Stoke on Wednesday.
It was the first time the 25-year-old striker had completed a match since he suffered a career-threatening injury against Birmingham last February.
The Croatian told Arsenal's website: "In my head and everything I am ready. I feel much stronger. I am happy now.
"I think I am ready for the first team but you would have to ask the boss."
There had been fears for Eduardo's career when he suffered a fractured left fibula and an open dislocation of his left ankle after a tackle by Martin Taylor during the 2-2 draw at St Andrews on 23 February
The striker, who had surgery on the same day, missed the remainder of the season and Euro 2008 but has been undergoing an intensive rehabilitation programme that included spells in his native Brazil.
He returned to action in a reserve game against Portsmouth in December, but had not played for 90 minutes until Wednesday's 2-2 draw against Stoke at the Britannia Stadium.
"It has been a long time since I've played 90 minutes and now I fell better knowing that I can play a whole game," he added.
"The plan against Portsmouth reserves was to play an hour but we decided with the small injury that I should go off because of the risk in continuing the game. But I am happy now, I played 45 minutes of that game which was good for my confidence.
"I feel very well and I'm training hard every day. Of course I want to come back quick and strong. Now, every game for me is a big step.
"I am happy with the 90 minutes on a very hard pitch with all the hard rain. I needed time in the reserves to get my match fitness back.
"But playing my first game for the first team, I am ready now and I am just waiting for my chance."
