Arsenal Thread

Bloody hell, Adebayor has now said pretty much hours after he said he's staying that he could join Milan!:SS

And the story goes on,
Emmanuel Adebayor has cast further doubt on his Arsenal future after revealing his interest in a move to Barcelona.

AC Milan are also pursuing the striker, who has given conflicting statements about his immediate future over recent days.

On Friday he insisted he would be staying with the Gunners before minutes later hinting he would push for a move to the San Siro in showdown talks with manager Arsene Wenger next week.

Wenger has insisted he would not be seeing Adebayor - who scored 30 goals last season - having already held talks with him.

Now the 24-year-old has further muddied the waters by revealing Barca's interest which he would favour if the north London club do not meet his demands for a pay rise to a reported £120,000 a week

He said "Milan are a big club but the fact they are not playing in the Champions League next season is less of a challenge.

"Barcelona have made a good financial offer and there is also the chance to play alongside great player.

Honestly, what a cunt.

to make matters worse... he thinks he's the second coming of TH14... that ego keeps on growing...

He explained: "People ask if I am asking for the same salary as Henry. That is not necessarily the question.

"But I am being considered a worthy replacement for Henry while not deserving his salary.

"The question lies on this level."

Hmmm, I can see why Wenger would want to get rid.

Personally I think he's a one season wonder. 28M is absolutely ridiculous. That's how much you would pay for David Villa. Get rid Arsene.

I think he'll stay. The only reason i thought he would go was Wenger never came out and said were not selling he has now, i doubt he'll go.

anybody heard of this guy talking about playing in our reserves from Bremen ? http://sport.setanta.com/en/Sport/News/Football/2008/06/29/Prem-Bischoff-on-Arsenal-move/

I don't know nething about this kid, but he seems to have the right attitude and I believe that's important... He knows where he stands and he's willing to go through our reserves and fight for a spot, so I say good luck to him and hopefully he becomes a great product for us in the new future should he really be coming our way...

Seems like your still looking for a DM, Surely Wenger has to have his eye on Senna?! would be a great replacement

hello fellow arsenal supporters, does any of you know where can i find the classic arsenal team ? i'd like to play with arsenal legends on pes 2008. thanks.

I understand its a done deal but I am perplexed by it. We have had enough injuries over the past 2 years, we do not need another injury prone player. I think he is out of contract so thats maybe why Wenger is having a punt on him.

News is that you lot have rejected a 24M bid for Adebayor from Barcelona but they might come back with a improved offer.

I don't listen to any of this transfer crap now. Why do the media persist in turning football into Fuckin' Coronation Street? When something is official I'll believe it.
