Arsenal Thread

He means to say is that after that similar victory dance in CL quarters, someone had a dive in the box and so could some Derby County player could have had. Its like his dance is some kinda Voodoo that makes opponents Dive.

NO Offense but usually players going to serieA is usually for weather and girlfriend opinions... win 1st a trophy before buggering off for new pastures

As for Milan, it's because of the ridiculous wages they pay. You couldn't imagine the wage the fringe players like Serginho, Cafu, Brocchi, Favalli etcetera earn. Not to mention the more 'important' players. Imagine someone like Aquilani earning less than half of with Simic earns.. A player like Ambrosini ears as much as the entire- first line-up of Palermo. Hence the reason noone ever wants to leave Milan and hence their transfer policy has been limited these last seasons(no money left for acquisitions, due to the high wage pay-off). This may be the first time in seasons Milan get to spend, as they could clear out some of those ridiculous wage carriers..... And add a few new ones instead, 4m euro's a season for Flamini!

Didn't watch the game but heard the result, If Wenger had got you lot to play without the pressure you would have cruised to the title you need a wise head in the team which you simply don't have at the moment.

Hey guys, I'm curious... would you have preferred we had won 4-0 at Derby or this 6-2 margin?... I would have preferred a 4-0 win to be honest...

Well it doesnt matter anyways coz we won it. and our Defence was being a bit lax. Only 1 experienced player as a centre-back. Most of them were kids playing and the main reason was that none of the players took the game very seriously as they usually do. Maybe they did only after Derby scored a 2nd goal. But its ok anyways. and winning at Pride Park is not an easy job actually. Manchester won 1-0 after Derby gave them a tough fight. Liverpool also had a very very tough fight when they won 3-1. so i think compared to those scores 6-2 is better.

djourou's 1.90m height would have been better than A. Song (McEvelly scored with both Gallas and Song on his back), but why should we be complaining when it was a 6 - 2 win? As the commentor said: It was a walk in the Pride Park.
Other than that: Did Wenger say he would buy something at all in the summer? And if yes did he give hints of the positions?

i'm starting to think a forward isn't what we need, specially if vela will come...looks like wenger brain washed me. a winger and a defensive midfielder (in case flamini-toujours-les-argents leaves).

I like Adler, also Neuer is good. I think Vela can play as a winger...but improvisations aren't good.
If Wenger wants to play with Song next season too...i'll be there at the end with a warm "I told you so".

Is Vela playing as CF at Osasuña? Everything i know about him is this video, and he plays great as left winger:

this video

We may need a CB. Senderos is good but not our level, and Kolo had a terrible season. But you'll never know about the yougsters. At first half of this season Walcott was a lost hope for many, now he sure is a starting player.

Yeah I Think Vela plays as a CF for Osasuna. Well even if he doesnt Wenger knows which player's position to change. As for Youngsters in Defence, We have a Kid named Harvard Nordtveit from Norway. Well he seems to be good. He said he hopes to save our transfer money for this summer on a CB. Well atleast when i Played Football Manager 2008, he was really good and got transfer offers from AC Milan, Real Madrid and Inter Milan. But thats just a game,:-pp so lets see how he is actually if he plays next season.

And yah any latest news on Flamini??

Apparently Flamini has told everyone (only inside the dressing room) that hes going to AC Milan. Well i'm not surprised about this anyways. Now lets hope Wenger finds someone good at his place. Gareth Barry from Astonvilla and Michael Johnson from Man City ar being eyed, lets see what happens.
