is flamini that good?! does he deserve such a big club like Arsenal to beg him to sign a new contract?!
in my book, he did almost one good season since he got here. he can be replace with a stronger, more imposing defensive midfielder. he never was on my liking...

Fuck it. We can't offer him the wages that Milan can offer him. Thanks Matty you have had one good season but if you feel that money is the be all and end all then so be it.

We have apparently offered him 5 years @ 60k a week and for a player of his abilities I think that is a fantastic offer. Whats the point in us upping the offer and having him hold us to ransom? We are The Arsenal and we will find someone else who WANTS to play for us.

Having said that I would be delighted if he stayed....:)

I've always said if a player doesn't want to be with us then they should go away.

But he looked so good this season with Fab. Just gonna be a lottery if we can replace him properly.

With him and Hleb prbably going. Anybody we bring in will likely be foreign and will have to get used to the league etc etc

I just want us to win things next season - the more people we sell - I think the less chance that will happen.

Hopefully it will all be fine and we can get people with the same temprement as Cruz for Blackburn and Torres for Liverpool. That can come straight into the team and make a huge difference.

Diarra and now Flamini, thats two very good holding midfielders gone in the space of a year, shame if it happens.

Yeah he is now but when at Juve, Fabregas owned him. AFter reading his book though he did not want to leave us so maybe I should have left him off my list.
 
I think they only play for the money in the end of the month and not for the joy of playing football like when they were kids..

Well yeah it is true that he did not want to leave. But its an interesting story about why he left. Vieira Got an EXTREMELY good offer from Juventus. He had still 1 year left on his contract with Arsenal. So, Wenger told him that even if he stays at Arsenal, his contract wont be renewed again as a young boy is coming in. His name is Fabregas. So continuing Wenger said that, if he was in Vieira's place he would accept the Juventus offer and earn millions. So it was Wenger who asked him to leave for Fabregas. Well i dont know how much this is true but it was out in news once and Wenger himself had said that.

I just find that odd? Image if they had Vieira and Cesc both in the middle it would have been exactly what you needed a Big strong presence in the middle while Cesc as the playmaker. seems odd why he didn't think they could play together

Maybe Wenger thought that Vieira was getting old and wouldnt play upto the mark. Just dont know why he did that but i'm sure for whatever reason he did it, it would have been the right reason.

Having played for 9 clubs for me isn't doing well, you have to consider he left Arsenal 9 years ago and in those 9 years whats he done? ok he won the League and Champions League with Real but that was only as a bit part player and he's had many other short stints and IMO he wasted 9 years of his career

@Young_GunUK: True he squandered away 9 years but he has gained experience and also Champs League medal also I mentioned Anelka is doing well as in the Chelsea. I ain't advocating his decision to move to so many clubs!!

Another hat-trick for Ade..Derby must be the worst team ever to grace the Epl clueless at the back we should of score a record 15 goal lol.

post interview: Ade dance was to answer Earnshaw celebration dance...they ask Fab if they can win the title (cleary he didnt understand the question) he answer yeah...you never know in football we can hahaha

What do you think about Denilson pairing with Fabregas, if Flamini leaves? I think he's like Fab, more offensive than defensive, but in the pre-season Wenger could adapt them to play together.
 
Yeah i guess if Flamini leaves, I think its going to be Denilson and Fabregas--both kids and both are good with the ball and extremely good attackers. But Denilson still has to pick up a bit to pair with Fabregas permanently, but i'm sure he can do it. Gilberto is now getting old and might leave this or next season. So if Wenger doesnt buy any DMFs i think its going to be Fab-ilson.

Ade's Hattrick was damn good. and seriously we should have scored 15 goals, only if RVP, Eboue, Toure, Walcott, Bendtner and Ade hadnt missed some of their other shots.

Yeah i knew it was an Answer to Earnshaw's Celebration!!:-pp
and i guess our chances of winning the title is 0.25%.
