Arsenal Thread

Arsenal fans are very calm compared to last year's United fans according to authorities. Good to know. 4 arrests but they're probably drunken idiots who ruin it for all.

Anticipating a good game tonight. If you guys go through, I wont be too disappointed. I'm a fan of Arsenal in the Prem, so a little part of me will win inside.

anyone else think maybe Lehmann should start? just in case it gets down to penalties? I don't think we'd want to use a sub on goalkeeping =x
 
Great 1st half performance by arsenal. Should be one up, and should have had a penalty aswell. Instead Hleb gets booked for having the nerve to get fouled on the edge of the box.

Milan had some moments early on, but after about 20min have been hanging on really. Arsenal are just passing and moving about too fast for them. Really good game! Milan are looking like they will have to rely on Kaka/Pato counters / set pieces to get anything.
 
I'm not sure, but if it could have been a foul, it wouldn't have been a penalty,it was outside of the box. Anyway it was a clear foul for me, surely Hleb didn't deserve a yellow card for diving.
Decent game so far, it should be 1-0 to Arsenal ;)
 
Great performance!!!

Last seasons final showed that Milan couldn't cope with high tempo football, pressure, and ended up winning it due to a fortunate freekick / class / poor finishing by Liverpool. Tonight Arsenal, although showing signs of the poor finishing like Liverpool, took it a step further by playing high tempo passing / possesion football and bar the first 15-20min. controlled the match with Milan never really in it. Was a bit worried, well was hoping for ET as I was enjoying it so much, that Arsenal would miss some more chances and Milan get something from their class / experience. Fortunatly the best team won!

Can't remember the last time two English teams met in the European Cup final but I'll take your word for it mate. ;)
 
I was talking about the whole knockout part!

Seen enough of Chelsea, and the Arse-Chel match from a few years ago was pretty rubbish aswell.
 
Boys turned into men tonight...i hope this puts an end to all the talk that boys cannot win titles and cups....we looked class apart tonight apart from some finishing..
WAY TO GO ARSENAL!!
