Arsenal Thread

2-2! ...and the title race is BACK ON!

Fair play, Gallas is a right twat. Kicking the adboard, getting a pointless booking and THEN sits there at the final whistle crying. Even Sky Sports said "That is just ridiculous. He needs to grow up."

Also, what message does it send out to your players when you captain is sulking?

3 games - one 4-0 hammering, 0-0 against Milan and 2-2 against 10 men B'ham today. You're creaking a little bit lads but I wouldn't worry too much, I got a bad feeling about the Newcastle match today.

It was a perfectly acceptable penalty - you're such a drama queen Schumacker. Blame Clichy, not the ref.

You talk about being robbed; you should of put them away far earlier; Adebayor was selfish and crap today. You played a bottom 4 team for 80 minutes with ten men; these are the sort of games that win you titles.

I'd love it, just love it.........

Didn't see the match, but from the stats it doesnt look like arsenal were creaking, 13/13 on goal / off target efforts to b'ham's 1/1 efforts. That was at 88min I think.

But Gallas sulking and crying is very odd, although maybe the HT teamtalk from Wenger was that they had to win this match for eduardo and after conceding the late goal and the injury he had seen earlier it might have just been a bit too muchvfor him. I could understand if that was why he reacted like that.

Very stupid mistake by Clichy, Wenger would be furious.

Anyways, United are playing against Newcastle, and I have a slight feeling King Kev might surprise. It would be the perfect chance. But really, United will thrash them :)

haha Gallas reminds me of me on a Sunday when we lose in 5 a side.

The guy is passionate and they were probably trying to the win game for Eduardo. He did go OTT but the heat of the moment can get to you in these circumstances.

We can all go on about Taylor being this & that but like Coopz correctly said in the chat box, these challenges happen & Eduardo was on the end of one today. Taylor didn't go in thinking "Right, I am gonna break this guy's leg" did he?

Also, I just seen the replay of Adebayor's one-on-one with the 'keeper. All he needed to do was square the ball and that would of been it, 3-1 and the game killed off. Arsenal were dodgy today.

Does anyone else think Adebayor and Bendtner dont get along?

I knew they had that arguement on TV the other day, but the number of times Adebayor just DIDNT pass to him was unbelievable. Ade went clean through and could have just squared it to Bendter for a goal but just totally ignored him. Shocking. I think them two need to sort out their differences or they will hand the title to Man Utd.

Well noticed Kev & I agree. It was like the two fowards for Lyon on Wednesday night. You gotta have everyone thinking as a unit. The egos of Arsenal are emerging.

Also, that's a nice mature post GodSmack. I know the injury is horrific but no-one deserves to die; at the end of the day it's only FOOTBALL. Tosser.

Weirdest match ive seen Arsenal play.
But please don't post those Eduardo pics anymore or at least don't quote them (use the spoiler tags for the current ones posted), those r extremely discusting pics and show how horribly injured he is atm (specially that last one).
Then the Cherry on top of the cake was that blackout clichy had, which cost them to lose 2 points... Just hope ManU draws or loses the match, which i highly doubt, but in football anything can happen.
Can any1 tell me which players are injured in Arsenal and how much time left for full recovery?

clichy won the ball but im questioning as to what teh fuck he was doing before? he was bloody looking everywhere like a headless chicken but could not see that defender coming into the box.

also ade is fucking crap. his lucky goal streak has ended. his a worthless peice of shit. eduardo would of buried those chances.

arsenal should be pissed at themselved they could not even win for eduardo. pathetic no wonder why gallas reacted like that

poor :(( Eduardo very very unlucky...(a regular tackle took him out..no malice done)

Ade is not being a team player today looks like he wants self glory :SHAKE:

Today we look abnormal and in the end we got what we deserved... :SHHH:

did u lot hear what wenger said? he said taylor doesnt deserve to be on the pitch and that he saw it coming becausing he knows that people think that if u kick arsenal around u will win

Yeah, I just saw him say Taylor should never play football again. When I first saw the tackle I thought nothing of it. It just looked like a usual late challenge which you see regularly. Then when I saw the angle where the foot connected with Eduardo's leg, it was pretty shocking. I still dont think there was any intent, and Taylor shouldnt be linched for it.

PS I just shit myself, Matt Le Tissier just screamed Goal - woo Torres

sorry mate for my embarrassing post! i'm verry angry because this hard tackle on eduardo! naturally, no deserve to die, but he need ban for playing football to end of life!
sorry for my verry poor english...

hats how teams play againts us normaly. they kick us off the park. taylor got out skilled by eduardo and out of sutration purposleyt tried to take him down. he was miles away from playing the ball. the ball was a few yards away from him for christ sakes. wetaher he inetionaly wanted to break his foot is not the issue here, taylors intentw as to foul him to stop him from going past him period not to try to actualy get the ball off him.

you bloody need to tackle real hard to cause a bloody broekn foot like that so that is why i believe wenger is right
