Re: The ARSENAL Thread - Still top!
Not much talk of Adebayor getting pasted to the ground twice in the final moments of the game by the last defender on both occasions, the 2nd time took the biscuit, should have been a straight red, should have been an automatic goal if I wrote the rules. Anyways, a draw was a fair result, Newcastle played their arses off and Arsenal were lucky to get out of it with a point in the end. Its tough at the top, 4 points ain't a lot but at this point I'll take 4 points ahead instead of 4 points behind. On our GK issue I think we should sent Almunia AND Lehmann packing, neither one of them has my 100% backing as an Arsenal Goalkeeper at this point. Almunia has done well in all honesty but there's just something missing, maybe its a command/authority thing, I don't think he has that. Also, Eduardo, I wonder how much longer its going to take this guy to "settle in", he looked lost against Newcastle, what's the concensus? Wenger hasn't let us down before and I trust his judgement so I guess we await with bated breath and time will tell.
