True, and you really are a moron if you base young player stats on WE7. Just look at Torres, Robben, Sneijder, VDV etc.

About the Trabelsi rumours, I've seen him more strongly linked with Chelsea although he has said he wouldn't mind going to either. I think if he does come to England, he'll be at the Bridge.

Considering the amount of bitter United fans they are to the news of Reyes transfer, I didn't think it was sarcasm, just ignorance on your part since Reyes is a snesational young player. Apologies if you're being sincere though.
 
I am , like i said if the kids that good i'll look forward to seeing him, Just cause i'm a Red doesnt mean i hate everything arsenal, i think Henry is an outstanding player and a joy to watch. So does this mean Pires' positon on the left is under threat, your not gonna pay £20 mill plus for a bench player, unless your chelsea.

Wenger reckon's he can play him in any attacking position.................I hope he's right!!!!! ;)
 
i know you lot are probably sick of this but surely ya gotta be hopin that wenger is still trying to get a defender in. u were saying during the summer that u needed a new centre back and surely the fact that keown has been out for quite a while and cygan has once again proved he's not up for the job indicates the need? either that or ya gona cash in on henry :shock:

I think he'll be slotting in just behind Henry because of Dennis' departure at the end of the season. Wiltord and Kanu could go too. Two top players competing for the LM position would be interesting though. Would definitely improve motivation and I think Pires needs that kick sometimes. Remember what he did to Liverpool after being left out for a few games?

On the other hand, would AW risk the telepathic connection that Pires has with Henry? Probably not, so a No. 10-esque role in the team will likely be Reyes first-choice position.
 
Yeah, we were linked with Tblisi or whatever ever his fookin name is, but he's due to sign with Chelsea!!!

As far as defenders go, I think they were a priority before Wiltord, Allaidiere and Bergkamp were injured, so maybe this deal just came up at the right time for Arsenal!!!!! Probably grab a defender in the summer now!! ;)
 
Toure has proved that he'll be a starting defender for years to come. Just a question wether it will be at right-back or centre-back. Cygan also did well when he had to fill in, he's good enough for third choice. After all we have conceded the fewest goals in the league. We also have Clichy, Senderos and Hoyte coming through so we're pretty solid at the back.
 
Match could be off 2moro. Snowing like there's no tommorrow here. Pitch will be fine but the surroudning area is gonna be snowy/ice as fook. Im gonna be listening to the radio 2moro as they might be requesting people to go and clear the stands, but it dont look good.

That would actually benefit us I think. If it is put back a week we could put out a stronger line-up. Perhaps even Reyes, he probably won't play this weekend.
 
Reyes won't play this weekend cos he's got a one match suspention he picked up when play for Sevilla.

Wenger said it wasn't clear yet wether his suspension will carry on to the EPL. So there is a chance he'll play I guess. But it's not really important, I don't think he would have started the game anyway.

I was shocked to hear about this deal for Reyes, tbh I didnt know much about the kid, sky sports have shown a few of his highlights and the kid looked lively.

The biggest shock in this is where Wengers got the dough from, he played broked when talking about 5mill for Defoe and thats a good deal if Saha's going for 12mill makes you wonder if a big name is going in summer.

Anyway its unusual for Arsenal to make these type of signings so it'll be interesting to see how it pans out.

Arsenal will be fine financially, im sure everyone just wants to see how he plays for them now...hes a very good player
 
We haven't spent any real money in two years and now that the financing of the stadium has been sorted, Wenger has obviously been given a go-ahead to spend. He recently said that he had about 10m to spend now but was gonna save it till the summer when he might have something more like 20m.

Besides, Arsenal will pay 10m now, 6m later and up to 7m more depending on appearances, performance and such.
