They wont until he's officially unveiled, the website got in trouble recently for posting Viera had signed a new contract when he hadn't.

The player will travel to London on Tuesday to meet his new team-mates and complete a routine medical, and will be handed the number nine shirt at Highbury.

Reyes, who will be available for the remainder of Arsenal's UEFA Champions League campaign, could even make his Gunners debut in this weekend's league game with Manchester City.

Sevilla are expected to replace him with Celta Vigo forward Jesuli.

The former Sevilla player looks set to move back to Estadio Sanchez Pizjuan in a €10 million (£6 million) deal, though he will face a huge task in filling the boots of Reyes.

This is absouloutely brilliant news for us gooners! Arsenal have now confirmed the deal has been completely. £16.6 million squid! who said we havn't got any money to spend? Reyes being the brightest prospect to come out of spain. Reyes quoting, "I'm the happiest man and the saddest man in the world at the same time. I'm leaving the best team in Spain to join the best team in England." Love the guy already!! Henry and Reyes are gonna terriorise defenses in the coming months!
 
He nutmegged Figo twice in the game when Sevilla won 4-1.... he ran that game, but from a deep role like Bergkamp.

Excellent prospect, and f'ing sweet right foot! Better put him in my game i guess... :)

Brilliant! This is great news for the club. I knew Arsenal would buy, and I wasn't surprised when there was no official news of this and just rumours because that's the way Arsenal have always worked. I didn't know the club would get Reyes though, at least not till the summer and I am overwhlemed, to be honest. I love the way Wenger's mind works. This should prove to be a devastating partnership (Reyes & Henry). I love the way Wenger's mind works. Now, just sign Aimar in the summer. ;)

Easy tiger. A friend of mine says that we're on the verge on getting Trablesi but I haven't seen it anywhere. Anyone else heard this?

He's converted but he hugs the left flank. If Reyes is a left winger then he will naturally try to go there.

You're right. They did spend millions and millions of money for a player they don't really need. They just randomly picked a player from a list and bought him. They didn't think about it.

You boys kill me, your already building this kid up to be the greatest, how many of you have seen him play, and you are the same people who slag off Cristiano ronaldo week in , week out, let's see him play for you, before you start licking his balls, ffs.
