Wenger has said that Option 1 will be Bergkamp in the forward role and Option 2 is wide open with either the youngsters (Quincy/Bentley) or Pires and Ljunberg occupying the space. I think we'll see Quincy there, because AW has already said Bentley is similar to Bergkamp.
Moving on, apparently, Wenger's unhappy at Feyenoord too for leaking the deals of the van Persie deal, because, as you all know, he likes to be keep things secret till the deal has ended. I understand it from a Feyenoord perspective, however. If they don't get van Persie on the market now, he'll more then likely leave for free at the end of next season.
The Reyes rumours are still up there and I think it would be great if we did sign him, although the price tag shouldn't be too outrageous. I'm an intent follower of Spanish football and the guy really is soemthing special. With Fabregas destined to be playing first team football next season, Arsenal could have two of the most promising Spanish footballers linking up next year.
Another player who I would love to see at the club, and whom Arsenal have been linked with a few times before is Samuel Eto'o of Mallorca. He's full of class and I truly believe he has the quality to be playing for any one of the top three in any of Europe's best leagues. Eto'o combined with Henry would prove to be one of the most lethal combinations in Europe, not to mention the fastest. Watch out for him in the African Cup of Nations. He shouldn't disappoint.
