It was one-way traffic for 90 minutes. Fulham got a couple of chances but you could count those on one hand. Van der Sar was definitely the man-of-the-match in this one.

well, yea by the time i turned to the match, all they started saying was how they couldn't beat the "dutch international goalkeeper", and the "dutch international goalkeeper" was amazing this afternoon, etc etc... well nice try gunners, better luck next time

The mighty Gooners

Everybody know's (even Loz) that Henry is the best player in the world at the moment! Even £100 million wouldn't get Henry.

Arsenal have shown the rest of the league that although they have got the greatest squad, if fit our first team is second to none.

Let's wait and see what happens when Vieira is back!!! Look out Keane and Makelele...

It's gonna be interesting to see Vieria come back and fit into the squad, Edu has rolled some pretty fine performances out recently!!!! 8) ;)

Couldn't agree more mate. I've seen 75% of our games this season and Edu is the man to partner Vieira in midfiled, the guy is just class. I can best explain it by saying that he does everything Gilberto does but better.

You're crazy!!!!

How about the kids heh, gave first team Wolves a right going over

Hey guys, remember me? Zico! :D

Can't believe we smashed Wolves 5-1 tonight with a team packed full of youngsters. Maybe having no money is the best thing that could have happened to us, because it now means we have to produce our own talent. It was also great to see Vieira completing the full 90 minutes after being out for a few weeks.

Haha Some very well set up goals in this game. Looks like a real team compared to the first team ;)

Good to see you back mate, 5-1 with kids against a strong Wolves team proves we have young talent in reserve. Things is and I have said this before, Wenger has to give them a chance in the Premiership when the opportunity arises.

The lad Fabregas looks special, plus Aliadiere scored a great individual goal.

The future is bright!!

Wenger always seems to go with experience when there's a chance to play a youngster and the small amount of games played by Pennant is astonishing. Although his attitude may not be the best. But Wenger has played Cole and Anelka in the past so maybe he is just very picky with young players?

The thing with Cole thoug was that Wenger had to play him as at the time we didn't have anyone else who could play there, it was forced on him.

Pennant hasn't been given a chance because I feel he is not quite up to the standard we require.

Yeah, but Wenger obviously decided beforehand that Cole was good enough because he let Nutty go to West Ham and didn't sign anyone as back-up for Silvinho. Although he probably didn't think that Cole would end up replacing Silvinho.

5-1 to the mighty Gooners, with only 4 first teamers. That's just class! Alright it's only Wolves, but they had a pretty strong team out.

Spurs could only dream of such a performance.

Year I'm Deano!

Loz, eat my goal.

ha ha, nice one deano.

But like you say it was only against the mighty wolves.

Bring on the next north London derby i say :)

Yeah, it just feels great to be amoungst the guys again. :) Aliadiere's goal was brilliant, the way he turned the Wolves defense inside out was just amazing, similar to a Thierry Henry type goal. Just 2 more rounds to go...

Have I missed something? Man Utd players Ronaldo and Giggs pleaded not guilty instead of admitting their offences, then were found guilty of the same charges as the Arsenal players but only fined and warned instead of getting bans, and they're still moaning that they've been hard done by!
And you can add to that the fact that Gary Neville and Quinton Forune got away without even being charged for the more serious misdemeanours caught on (but not highlighted by) Sky TV.

Clearly, Arsenal were the biggest offenders. I can't help feeling that this fact is actually reflected in the comparison of a total of £275,000 fines plus 9 bans, versus a total of £11,500 and no bans. Or do Man Utd want the FA to set a precedent that retaliation is completely acceptable?

Loz, let's see if Carr can get his 3rd (own) goal of the season! He should of come to Arsenal with Campbell...

Yeah, how Giggs and Ronaldo didn't get banned is beyond me. I can't believe there moaning about the fines, it's virtually pennies to them.

Also, going a bit off-topic, but why is Rio Ferdinand still playing? Could you imaging if this had happened to Sol Campbell. He would have been banned for 2 years instantly.

They didn't get banned because they weren't charged with anything that they could get banned for, and I can't see what ronaldo did to get charged in the first place - but.......I agree, I don't think Fergie has any grounds to complain . It's all a little game to get Ferdinands punishment lessened.

Man Utd always get off lightly. You're not wrong about Campbell. Mind you if they did suspend Rio he'd just go and cry to Fergie and he'd have a shout at the FA.

PS. I still have a little laugh when I see Keown reverse clothes-line RVN!

lol, quality take on it, but i think Lee Evans Grandad should have been banned for six months for that kinda behaviour!!!

PS. it looks like Carr is on his way out during the summer and it wouldnt suprise me if he did follow that lying judas known as Campbell!

Err no you have got it wrong mate:

Parlour and Vieira got charged with Improper Conduct and got a 1 game ban each and a fine.

Giggs and Ronaldo got fined for Improper Conduct.

So how come our players were banned and thiers weren't??? Remember all 4 players were found to be guilty of the SAME charges.

No, Parlour was charged with Violent conduct AND improper conduct, Viera with improper conduct. He also faced a further charge for confronting van Nistelrooy and engaging in a verbal row with fourth official Neale Barry.

Giggs and Ronaldo were charged with mis-conduct, plain and simple. The most you can get is a fine.

Ooh ahh Ray Parlour etc etc...

Ronaldo should stick to his lolly pops mate! I swear that bloke can't dribble without chucking a lolly pop (Big Ron be the man) every two seconds!
