im no fan of arsenal but i have to admit they were awesome last night if they can be consistent in europe they may have a chance of winning champions league ,what made it even better is i fucking hate inter after i was in san siro last season for toon game getting things thrown at me from upp above was no pleasant thing.I was almost as happy last night as i was on sat morning when that rugby ball left jonny's boot :D
 
Really amazing ! Arsenal keeps it up !Just can't imaging you had thrown inter up side down with 5 goals. :)
 
Well a win will give us top of the group and that means we should avoid, Man Utd, Chelsea, Real, AC Milan, Juventus and others.
 
hell they deserve it hutch,they were absolutely awesome last night and in the premiership at the moment.and they're doin doin it with the lost of a few first team players.one good thing bout wenger,sticks with the same nucleus of players and they really do well for him.doesnt make drastic changes to the squad every season,makes daring decisions to let GVB,FJ,MV go on loan.down side is will they be able to cope thru the whole season or just buckle like they did last time out?

Arsenal were not awsome, they were very, very good. Inter were shite. I still reckon the Gooners would not be a force without Henry - he is class. As for an Arsenal treble, don`t get carried away yet - I`m not saying they are not good enough, they are, but its too early for that sort of banter.
Congrats on the 5-1 win, enjoy it.

Look back at some old posts from Mr. Zico, like Turkey stuffing England, and also England being as shite as Scotland - comical.

Got back from Milan last night and what can I say? No words can do justice to how the boys performed. I am sure most of you will have seen it on TV anyway but that was our best away performance in Europe for years (maybe even the best).

TH14 was unbelievable and will be a deserving winner of the World Player of the Year. Cygan was outstanding, his reading of the game was awesome at times. Edu had one of his best games for us just when it mattered.

Still can't quite believe that we did what we did, remember it was a must win game or we were out. The atmosphere in the stadium was amazing as was the stadium itself. Pity the Inter fans couldn't behave themselves.

The result still hasn't sunk in yet and hopefully it will send a warning to the rest of Europe that we aren't as naive as everyone thinks we are.

I am not saying that we are gonna win the CL but I think we have an outside chance. Wish i'd backed us at 66-1 before the Kiev game!!!!

I'm fed up with people saying that we rely too much on Henry for goals.

HELLO, he's the best striker in the world at the moment and your strikers are supposed to score goals, you have to rely on someone to do a certain job. Man Utd do it with Ruud and Ruud relies on penalties.

Yeah, I was gonna put £5 on us to win the CL when we were 66-1. Nevermind, i'll just put £100 on the 14-1 now. ;)

Thats very brave of you mate.....but could turn out to be a genius investment. After we have beaten Lokomotiv then our odds will be a lot shorter. ;)

So you'd be pleased if you paid £80 for tickets to see a team play that you could see any other time over Barnet for a couple of quid.

Also how comes Arsenal can't get a sell out for carling cup games unless they reduce their ticket prices to a tenner, must all be glory hunters!!!!!

1. You decided to buy the tickets for £80, thats your choice.
2. So what if you watch the reserves, supporting a team is about suppporting the 11 players on the pitch, regardless of who it is.
3. The reality is Arsenal do have a lot of Glory Hunters as fans, as we are a big club who win things.

Why do I make you feel sick, perhaps me calling you a glory hunter has hit the nail right on the head?

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has refuelled speculation linking Thierry Henry with a move to Spain. Perez, who has often been linked with Arsenal's French striker, says Real will continue their policy of signing a world-class player every summer.

"This year we will again try to sign the best player in the world," said Perez on Thursday.

And he hinted that talks are already under way when he said: "He has already been in contact with us." Perez refused to reveal the name of the player, but the Spanish media have reported that Real are once again looking to recruit an attacking player.

In the week that Henry was named in the top-three ranked players in world football, alongside Real Madrid stars Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane, the rumours make worrying reading for Arsenal fans.

What a load of shite. We really had to rely on Ruud last night, even though he didn`t play. Face it, Arsenal without Henry, just aint the same outfit.

Highly unlikely and not once did they name Henry, good old BBC.

By the way has anyone heard about the Aussie plot to stop Jonny W winning the BBC sports personality. They have an e-mail chain telling everyone to vote Henman. Let your buddies know and vote for egg chasing Jonny. (A little off topic but i'm sure there's many that will agree with me).

Well im sure if we can defeat the mighty Inter 5-1, we could beat anyone put infront of us, even Real Madrid. Fuck we would absolutly destroy there defence. :mrgreen:
