HAHAHA, MINUTE BY MINUTE GOALS... INTER GOT CRUSHED

"HENRY PLAYER OF THE MATCH" 2 goals 2 assists

inter is getting over rated....

the last goal was greaaat, thanks to inter's poor defense

This must truely be our best ever performance in Europe by an absolute mile. I just had a feeling we were gonna rip them to shreads, but didn't expect 5-1. What can I say about Henry, the guys on another planet. He showed tonight that he really is the best striker in the World. No other striker in the World does as much work as Thierry Henry.

It's gonna be a long night. ;)

WERE GONNA WIN THE CUP!!

5-1

SMELL THE GLOVE!

:)

Yes, it's drawing ever closer to one of our biggest games of the season. I predict a comfortable 3-1 victory for The Arsenal. ;)

Haha

Wonder what he's gonna say now.

I eat my words guys, well done. But, Inter were SHITE tonight, but hey, you still scored 5 goals at the San Siro.

Do the Inter players like playing for their team? Where was the home crowd? The Gooner presence was better than the home supporters.

I think Arsenal should cruise through now, but hey, stranger things have happened . . . . (like Latvia and Turkey! Woooohooo!) :D

i think basically the inter fans probably thought that since they were victorious 3-0 at highbury, they just underestimated "va va voom and co." haha well, kudos to the gooners, and bon chance for their remaining matches, phase 2!!

Read on arsenal.com

Before this game, Inter had only lost one game at the San Siro in the Champions League. The last English team to beat them here were Birmingham in 1960-61. Since their new manager took over (Oct 22 I think), no team has scored against Inter in the Serie A. This is also Arsenal's biggest win in the Champions League.

Now that tells me Inter is really good. Sheesh.. they must've been on form for ages (Inter).

Did you hear the fans after that onslaught of goals?

These guys sounded like they wanted to rip arsenal apart. Did you see Toldo's face? Looked like he got hit by a delivery truck while sleeping after that 5th goal. :D

I LOVE LOVE LOVE you Henry, and I think you got my pregnant after the game you silly boy.

I just wish we could play on Italian soil all the time, 8 goals in ou last 2 games there, not bad.

Haha

Yeah, wonder what we would have done to Lazio if we played them with there slow defence.

I tell you what guys, Kolo Toure is absolutly amazing, he can play in virtually any position. Looks like Wenger has spotted another superstar. :)

Bring on Fulham!

Don't think you'll find a btter player let alone defender for the price we paid for him, 250k wasn't it. He's young, strong, quick, a great tackler and versatile. Give him the number 6 shirt he'll be at Highbury/Ashburton Grove for many years to come!!!!!!!!

The whole defense played well specially Ashley Cole. He had Martins in his back pocket for the whole game and thats something when you consider that Martins is stronger and quicker than Cole.

Seeing as everyone has shouted out Campbell and Toure, I would also like to mention Cygan. That was his best game for Arsenal. He stepped out of defense very well. Although he made that one mistake when he took out Martins.

I think we dominated them in the defense and midfiled with our players getting first to every tackle to set up the attacking play.

I think that Vieira will find it hard to get back into the team cos Edu and Parlour are playing very well.

Did anyone realise that Aliadiere seems to be another star in the making? Wenger let Jeffers go cos he knew he had Aliadiere in the wings. Remeber that he scored a few goals last season before being injured that he tried to keep hidden. People at highbury regard in the Van Basten mould.

And what can be said Henry? He's the greatest player in the world!

Let's just hope that we don't go and thow it all away when we play Moscow.

Don't forget Kanu! Why can't he play like that week in week out? He held the ball up so well. There are rumours that he may be leaving in the January sales but I hope he doesn't cos he can do a job in the champions league.

dunno! No one on the bench has the explosive pace of Henry. Arsenal need to develop different ways of scoring.

The ever elusive fox in the box! Maybe Aliadiere? Who knows?

I agree, when he was at his best he scored goals ffrom all over the park. I think like Heskey he's a confidence player and if he gets a run then the goal scorers instinct may come back. As for the comment about Viera, he will get back into the team when fit cause no-one except Makelele can math Viera in his position when fully fit.

The only worrying thing is that it seems as though Arsenal are too reliant on Henry. What happens when he gets injured?

But you could say that about most teams. What would Man U do without RVN, what would Real do without Ronaldo and so on....

Anyone know whats happened to Wiltord?
