i think Wenger shoulda started looking for a defender during the summer really, what has happen to Cygan, btw?
 
I haven't even seen Cygan since last season? I mean, he's not that hard to notice with the cueball head on him. Maybe Wenger Fedexed him back to France. We definately need a 28/29 yr old good experienced defender.
 
It seems clear to me that he doesnt rate young English talent, llok at Pennant, Upson, and to a certain extent Ricketts, who is coming on a treat at the Lane, btw. Of course the one exception here is Ashley Cole, but it didnt work out with Silvinho, so i guess he had no option but to play him.
 
Yeah, and he's packing Jeffers off to Everton for other teams to get a look at him just to see how much he'll get for him next season. Good point Loz.
 
oh yeah, i forgot about the 'fox in the box' jeffers. another english player wenger seems heel bent on not playing.

Your guess is as good as mine about what happened to Upson mate. Look at him now, he's going from strength to strength.
 
Listen the dive against Portsmouth was the first dive i've ever seen from Pires in his entire Arsenal carear matey. What about all the dives Owen and Heskey do?
 
heskey doesnt dive.......he falls naturally.he cant stay on his feet.youve only seen pires dived once?how many arsenal games do ya watch?
 
I will say this I never have liked Keown the ugle **** & now I hate him even more he's a wanker & if I saw him in the street I would proberly Spit at him followed by a headbutt!! right between the eyes.
 
yeah he is a bit of an arrogant fella, but cinsidering the lack of talent he has i guess he needs something to give him that bit of an edge :mrgreen:

i'm with ya on that.his behaviour(cole,parlour,lauren as well)after the game was just plain disgusting and deserves a good kicking in the head.i hope the FA punishes the above mentioned players big time as that sort of action shouldnt be condoned.....

PS:i support two teams,liverpool and anyone playin manure.but i'm glad arsenal didnt win this one as the attitude of the above mentioned players were just plain shocking.

I can't believe the ref gave a penalty in the last minute.
But I spose it was in fornt of 60,000 screaming Man U fans.
And he does actually support Man U
 
I know this is the Arsenal thread but can we talk about it in the Arsenal Vs Man utd thread cos I can't be arsed visiting 2/3 threads and I'd like to discuss it with all of you ;).
 
Man Utd are a fucking disgrace and the ref was bent, thats all im gonna say on the matter.

I think they should deducted 3 point's of Arsenal like they did in 89 ok there was no punching like last time but it was play school behaviour :mrgreen:
 
As a neutral person, I believe that although both teams were wrong, Arsenal were worse. After the game they were well out of order. I also think that the ref had a good game, and was not biased. He rightly booked Vieira for swinging a leg and Van Nistelrooy was rightly booked for faking. But the after match show, although entertaining was disgusting. Keown has no defence for what he has done.

Yeah, lets bring up an incident from 3 or 4 years ago when half of the United players involved arent even here anymore. :roll:
