hats off to Arsenal...still the most exciting team to watch in England.
As much as I support Liverpool, and we are in the CL final, and all...
but the quality of football at Arsenal is mouth-watering..
I would love it if we could sign Bergkamp for a few years...

He never treatedx him badly. He got injured and then decided to leave. You can't blame Wenger for not playing him

Even without tonights performance Bergkamp should be given a contract for life.His legs may have gone a bit but hes still the best at playing the killer pass in the Prem and when he finally does feel the need to stop playing im sure he could take up some sort of coaching role,youth team or something.I mean what kid isnt going to learn something from Dennis Bergkamp?

Also yeah that was a brilliant preformance, saw all the goals on sky sports news this morning.
 
Feck me what a performance last nite, pretty safe to say that regardless of who The Champions are this season Arsenal are still the best to watch....

Looking forward to a week on Sat even more now!!

Doesnt it piss you off to think that we would have won the Premiership again if it wasn't for Abramovich?

Its been confirmed that Henry is out of the Cup Final. Its not has groin tht has kept hm recently that is preventing him from playin but he has aggrevated his achilles.

Anyway we've been doing good without him and hes never scored in FA cup final.
 
Thats quite weird that he's never scored in a cup final.

Oh well, time for RVP to step up. We knocked them out of the FA cup in 2003 when Henry came on in the 77th minute and both goals had been scored, ie it can be done.
 
Right...I am excited now, I got my tickets this morning. Upper tier, directly behind the goal. NICE!! :) Can't wait. Also looking forward to the great piss up in Cardiff on Saturday evening, win or lose.

Nope, I wish.

TBH I'm highly disaffected with the whole process of actually going to see Arsenal. I've been on Red waiting lists, Silver waiting lists and poker-dot with yellow stripes waiting lists, but it seems you can't go and watch the Goon without A) registering your interest about 10 years ago or
B) being a filthy-rich prawn sandwich eater.
Have you seen the 'Club level' they have introduced at the Emirates? They still have some for sale but the cheapest are a snip at just £2,750 per year (doh).

If I ever get to go to Highbury its because I know a few Silver members who occasionally have a spare. A while ago I also used to go out with this girl who's grandparents were bond holders in the North bank, and therefore got discounted season tickets. We spilt up tho so that was the end of that :( Need to find myself another bird with Arsenal connections :P

Been on the registration scheme waiting list for about 4 years (1 as a red member). I saw that the silver members deadline for membership renewal is June 6th so here's hoping a load forget and I can go to a load of games at the last season in Highbury. Fingers crossed I will make the scheme the year after but i'm not expecting too much.

Butatista how much is a season ticket these days? I'm not looking to get one cause I play footy for a local team on Saturdays but i've always wondered.

I know guys, I can sympathise with you two. I was extremely lucky, I got my Season Ticket in 1995, just BEFORE Bergkamp signed. At that time they was no waiting lists at all. You could stroll up and get a Season Ticket anytime you wanted. My first one was £260. I sit in the Clock End right behind the goal about halfway up, a great seat.

After Bergkamp signed, it went mad and there have been waiting lists ever since.

Keep an eye on Arsenal.com for ticket updates, the first 3 games of last season went on GENERAL sale, you didn't even need to be a member to get a ticket for those games. Anyway, its gonna get a lot easier for you guys at the Emirates.

BTW my Season Ticket next season is £885 :shock:

Thats an awesome shot Buta. 4 of my mates were at that game in the North Bank. I could have gone but unfortunately was stuck in the frozen north about to sit my finals :(

Hmm probably not. I blagged my boss to get me invited to a Highbury hospitality evening where they sell the new 'club level' seats to rich local businessmen. I was told that Emirates is ALREADY over-subscribed, so in all likely hood the situation will probably be the same as it is now.

Still, got to sit in the director's seats for a bit and meet Kenny Samson. He's well fat now! :mrgreen:

Hadn't thought about those forgetful Silver members Nicky. Here's hoping there's plenty of 'em!
