Well it looks like that little prick REYES wants to leave... BUT WHY???? he got his own CHANT for crying out loud. and even though he's outta form the fans love him...

I think he's just not gettin along with the rest of our teammates. I see a lot of my fellow GUNNERS around the world thinkin OWEN would be the perfect swap for Reyes. BUT I must disagree. Owen would just not click and play our style of football. but whatever if that were to happen I hope he makes me eat my words. Although a Henry Owen partnership sounds DEADLY IF and only IF worked correctly....

owen would score alot of goals if he played for arsenal. Owen is more in the box striker similar to van nistelrooy and henry is rooney style player but faster and more experience. You arsenal fans should be hoping with all your hearts that the deal goes through.

I read the other day that Aliadiere wants to move on and leave Arsenal in the summer.

This would be a real shame, he's a quick dribbler and v fast over short distance. A combination of various injuries and the fact that Bergkamp, Reyes, Henry and prob Van Persie are in front of him has given him few 1st team opportunities. Personally I think he's got skillz and would hate to see him leave, he'll blatantly go somewhere else and be mint. Maybe a loan would be the answer?

i've heard that Van Persie isnt too happy either, seems like Wengers lost his touch with his young players.....

What a load of old bollocks.

RVP has said nothing or indicated nothing of the sort. In fact its more the other way around imo. RVP has to be careful or Wenger will get frustrated with his lack of discipline, he got sent off again playing for Holland U21's at the weekend.

I don't think Aliadiere will leave. Jose looks like he's on his way in the summer so Wenger will want to keep hold JA as he looks like a special talent. Can he stay injury free though so he can get some games in alongside Henry?

I've been in holland recently and thats what a few people said over there...

He came out and said he was happy at Arsenal, and didnt expect to get as many starts as he has been getting and enjoys learning from Bergkamp.

i think reyes will stay because ljungberg was the same when he first came to arsenal (being homesick) but after the rough period he got through and is now a great player

This is different though, Reyes has his mum, girlfriend, dad, sister all telling him to leave and go back to Spain. They all hate it here and its now rubbing off on him a bit. I don't think he is that unhappy but there is pressure there from his family to leave. Watch this space, Jose is off in the summer.

Sorry ı dont write anything about Reyes.

Arsenal is my favoruite team at the europe.I like Fabregas and Henry.I went Arsenal-Spartak Moscow champions league match. This match is at the 2000-2001 season.Arsenal won this match 1-0 and goal by Henry.I think Arsenal need a goalkeeper..

I have a question for everybody:
Is Reyes-Owen exchange materialize?

GO ARSEANAL!!!

thierry henry top class player but tbh he needs the bigger test for me the prem is like a stroll in park for him apart from when he plays united though pls henry step up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I can imagine Reyes joining Real and becoming a great player. Its sad that he has to go.
Owen would be the only realistic target cuz he'll definately leave Real if another striker joined the club. He's probably the best striker available.
But I don't think Owen suits Arsenal. When you see Arsenal play, all the players look like they were made for their positions. Everything fits together like a jigsaw. But Owen doesnt look like the missing piece.

I agree.. Henry still has enough in him to be playing that Bergkamp role.... Henry will be playing the Bergkamp role when he gets older in his 30's. RIght now we need a striker that can pass with the rest of the team. RVP is a great talent but his teamwork is garbage sumtimes... I think he tries too hard sumtimes... I havent seen any suggestions of him being a 'bergkamp' replacement....

If Reyes leaves we will def have to buy a well known striker because Berg is gettin a lot older. and it will be just RVP, aliadiere, and the youngster OWU along side Henry......

Well I guess we just have to wait and see what Rey Reyes decides to do with his life........

Owen would look nice on the team sheet but I dont realistically think he would slot into the Arsenal team very well. He's too small, and all though he is a proven premiership goal scorer, I dont think he's what Arsenal need.

Then again he will be getting a lot better service than what he had at Liverpool, so maybe he would find himself in more goal scoring opportunities with the Goon. Who knows?

If Reyes goes we really need to find another player who can cover Bob P on the left wing. I personally think Jose is much better on the wing than as a pertner to Henners, he has more opportunity to utilise his pace and passing ability. Also if you think about it, most of his goals have been sweet strikes from outside the box rather than from within it.

If we do sell him, with the extra £ I think we should go all out and sign want-away Cassano from Roma. Now thats a 'star' player.

Hey guys long time no speak, that's if anyone even remembers me!!!!!

A lots changed since last time I was here, we've lost a game for a start!

I think Owen would be a great addition to the side but think ultimately we need RVP to step up into the Bergy role cause Henry loves a Bergkamp style striker.

NickyBaker, theres a blast from the past. Hows it going mate? Where have you been then? 12 month sabatical in Bangkok?

You are right about RVP, but he needs to sort his temper out first! Otherwise he will spend more time suspended than on the pitch.

TBH I can't see Reyes leaving. No reason.. I just dont think he will. But I would love to have Owen.

Reyes played really well against Norwich I thought.

Something like that! Only joking I went on holiday and when I got back to work I was snowed for a while and just sort of forgot about Evo-web (God forbid!!!). Had a quiet spell yesterday so thought I would make my return.

Can't believe the semi-final has gone on general sale! I'm a red-member at the moment and didn't expect the tickets to filter down that low. Probably the early morning putting people off. I need to get up at 5:00!!!!!

Thats probably because a lot of STH like me aren't going, the pocket will only stretch so far!! I have been to every god damn semi final in the past 15 years so am giving this one a miss.

BTW, good to see you back on Evo-web!

It's understandable, i've managed to grab tickets for about 5 games this season now but it's an expensive hobby following a premiership footy team. How the die hards that go to every game without fail do it I don't know.

Sounds like a bit of a lucky victory today. God bless Bobby P...always there to tap in the ratty goals! Anyone go to the game?

In other news, nice to see Chelski arent untouchable. Also gotta feel sorry for the Mancs....

Speaking of "Bobby" what is Wenger thinking of by offering him only a 1 yr extension? - I guess he's set the precedent now by doing the same with Dennis and can't be seen showing blatant favouritism, but I was still shocked to hear this. When a midfielder, as gifted as Pires, gets 15 odd goals a season and links up so well with Thierry why wouldn't he let him see out his career at the club? - Does anyone else think Wenger is going off the rails a bit?

Its club policy to offer year to year contracts to a player after he reaches 30. Its been like that for a while and I think its to stop the favouritism you talk about. Makes sense really, treat everyone the same and there is no ill feeling on anyone's behalf.

Bob will probably go and go because his game is not based on pace but more positioning. He's never been a physical player like eg Vieria so his potential shelf life is extended.

Old purple nose is at it again!!

Old Purple Nose has been at the whiskey again!!

I think he has lost it this time. To suggest that its our fault that the semi's are played in Cardiff is just ridiculous! The FA has made this decision based purely on the fact that it will make more money out of 2 sell out Cardiff crowds, than games at smaller premiership crowds. Its also to get us used to Wembley semi's that will be coming in next season.

As of next season, all semi's will be at Wembley as part of the deal to build the ground. I suppose thats our fault as well!!

Also, we scored our 100th goal of the seaon at the weekend!! Astonishing stuff  . If only our defence was tight we would have had a much better season. Anyway, FA Cup to look forward to now. Hopefully we can progress with Utd progressing in the other semi. This would set up a great final!! Nice to see United roll over and die against Norwich and Chelsea drop a couple of points too. A great weekend to be a gooner!

Apparently Blackburn have only sold 11,000 tickets so I doubt it will be a sell out crowd!

Well if thats the case its a right fuck up isn't it? Its just another case of the FA not considering or listening to the supporters opinions! The Arsenal end has sold out though!

I love the way Sir Rouge tried to put this one at Arsenal's door. Especially after both Vieria and Wenger spoke out aginst the idea of both semis in Cardiff. Seems to be his favorite trick atm. Its like arseblogger said;

"He's quite happy to make stuff up about us but is nowhere to be seen when his team get turned over by a Norwich side propping up the league and who Arsenal beat at a canter the week before. It's a nice way of deflecting the heat from himself - get the fans who are pissed off at him for United's season (only 48 league goals) and his team selections and try and direct their ire at Arsenal."

Damn straight. What's next? I suppose it's also Wenger's fault that Chelski are now owned by a billionaire and have replaced Man Yoo as the richest club in the land. Oh, and remember all that stuff about WMD in Iraq? Well actually that was Arsenal too, and Wenger's personally responsible for MRSA + Turkey Twizzlers in schools. Hang those pesky Gooners!:P
