Hey our treatment room's, pretty congested too. How you guys feeling about Sunday? Should be an intresting game, considering circumstances... from an LFC point of view i'm slightly anxious about where our goals will come from!

I will be interesting. We are not our best at the moment, but like you say, you are missing loads of players. Campbell is back now so that should give us a bit more confidence at the back. Plus our recent Anfield record is good, 2 wins and a draw from last 3. Hoping we can scrap a win, 1-0 to the Arsenal perhaps?

Did you watch the game?? Sounds like you didn't. No complaints against the Lauren dismissal, but Vieira's second booking was a joke, you won't see a cleaner tackle all season. Plus it was maybe is 3rd\4th fould of the evening. Van Bommel made 8 or 9 nine fouls, all unpunished.

We were the better side I felt, with a bit more luck could have won. We had 2 great chances after being down to 10 men, Henry fluffed his after running half the length of the pitch and Van Persie scuffed his cos the ball bobbled as he hit it.

BTW, thanks Vann for you kind comments about our team, its appreciated!!

A tackle from behind, a stupid one, a yellow to me. Van Persie's ball didn't bobble, he wanted to chip the ball instead of giving it to Henry. Why did he want to do that? Because he's a selfish player who wanted to show Holland how good he is, that's basically it. Van Bommel was the best player of the game and PSV deserved everything.

(I'm not a PSV fan btw)

I think it will be a day for young strikers to shine. For Liverpool, Pongolle (who I think is quality) and Mellor, for Arse, probably Van Persie, Reyes and/or possibly one of the Carling cup kids. Dirty Dennis might be ready for it too, but I think it would be stupid to play Titi.

You are entitled to your opinion but basically you are talking out of your arse. Referees are supposed to book players for pesistent fouling, 9 fouls in game by one player (Van Bommel) is persistent fouling. I also stand by what I say, Vieira's second yellow was a joke, it was from the side and a very clean tackle.

As for Van Persie, the ball DID bobble and I think he had the right to shoot as he was in the better position.

Anyway, we will be ok in the end. I have no doubt that we will qualify for the knockout stages.

6000 tickets sent to arsenal for this weeks 1/4 final - 4000 returned cos they couldnt be sold.
Maybe nobody wants to go to shitehole Manchester.

Well it even further from Essex isnt it ;)

Still shaken Goons? Now its worsened isnt it?...Great goals anyways.Your captain should be booked earlier and maybe sent off for that blatant dive.I bet Arsene "Blind" Wenger didnt saw that.Great team goal by Paddy though.

Crikey, shows what a great run we have been on in the past year, we lose a couple of games and forget how to win (apart from a certain 5-4 win a couple of weeks back) and everyone is loving it. Well enjoy it chaps while it lasts cos it won't be forever. We will be there or thereabouts at the death, along with Chelsea and ManUre I've no doubts about that.

Liverpool played excellently yesterday and fully deserved their win. In fact I was just telling my mate how we had "got away" with a point just as Mellor hit the winning goal. How stupid did I look!!

Lets look forward though, Birmingham next in the league where 3 points will be welcome.

Thats cos no Gooners live in the shit hole that is Manchester. Yes, had the game been at Highbury you would probably fill our 5000 capacity away end in the Carling Cup cos London is full of Cockney Reds, plus the plastic mancs that fly in from Singapore to Heathrow for the game.

Its a pity that Patrick Viera is gonna miss the Chelsea game, but he should also have missed next weeks game. He gave the referee a decision to make but Wiley bottled it! I hope the FA look at it. But then again Lancaster Gate will probably turn a blind eye as usual!

what the f*ck was that?? How are you going to compete when you don't turn up? We seem to have let out Euro mentality into the domestic game. We are now ONE in front of Everton, and FIVE behind Chel$ki. Paddy's dive was a disgrace... made me cringe. Henry was also tossing his toys out the pram last night too...

Woeful... amateur mistakes in passing between two players and then trying to retain the ball. We've now got Cesc and Flamini in the middle against Chel$ki in 2 weeks, and if we don't turn up for that, we're going to be cannon fodder.

lol yeah of course what was I thinking, all the thousands of extra supporters for your wonderful emirates stadium are all gonna be from islington arent they...

looks like all the cockney reds are gonna be making the same journey up north yet the goons cant be arsed (no pun)

Anyway, what a suprise Wenger didnt see Patricks AWFUL dive, sorry, he did see and but said it was hard to tell if there was contact, funny that he sees everyone else cheating but not his own players, and goons wonder why no one takes them seriously.

Lol one shot on goal, although it was a great goal, no clean sheet in about 13 games looks like your record of failing to defend a title is right on track.

What a load of Big Time Charlies!!!

lol, yeah 4 points. how we gonna manage that, well chelsea will beat you's next week, so theres three straight away...

Southerners never learn, they give it the biggun and never back it up, how many times have the goons looked good in the first few months of the season only to fall apart in the second and most important part of the season.

Are you all embarrsed at the antics of your Captain, well we all know he's a coward with his spitting and various dirty tactics but he's now taken to diving.

everyone knows how whinging wenger loves to come out and take cheaters to task whats he gonna say about diving paddy????

November always appears to be our trickiest month. 11 defeats in 35 in November. Thats a horrible record.

However our best months are September (1 deafeat in 30) and April (1 defeat in 34).

Once actually, in 2003 when we handed you the title on a plate.

Yes it was bad, he should have been sent off.

Exactly the same as Fungeson said about Rooney, feck all!!

Huh? No Scousers tossing shit around here??

Let me be the ugly American and get it started! WOO HOOO!!! (dances naked with 'pool hat on, and penis tucked between legs like dude in Silence of the Lambs)

LOL. Just kidding boyz. You've had a helluva run and nobody counts you out of anything if they know what yer capable of. Should be an interesting one v Chelski on the 12th. I don tthink the moment will faze cesc either. That li'l bastard plays well every time i see him.

PEACE

I knew a storm was brewing over the last few months . . . now the volcano seems to have errupted what am I talking about: Arsenal/Manchester United "who is the best?" debate.

I of course, will be bias towards my boys, and must make some points.

I KNEW Arsenal would not have been able to pick themselves up after a few bad results. I predicted it. Just like Real Madrid, too many egos in one camp. Vieira was shocking with that dive yesterday, and Henry is a cry-baby who cannot perform on the big stage. Get over yourself, Thierry.

At the beginning of the season, Fergie reminded Wenger that Arsenal have not made back-to-back Premiership champions - and this season, the way Chelsea play for each other, the way they defend, the depth in their squad, looks like they are on course for the title. Also, look at United. We were TWELVE points behind the Gooners at one point. Its now down to FOUR, and anyone who knows their football doesnt write United off. I have noticed that Arsenal have not been "gunning" down better opposition. United have won against Liverpool, Newcastle, Spurs and Arsenal. Lets not even start talking about Arsenal in the Champions League  .
The league is hotting up now, and it is going to be the best Premiership yet, in my opinion.

As for Manchester being a dump, it has it nice parts, it has its shite parts. But come on, are you saying all of North London is pretty!?!?

One small corner of the New York Post this morning had a little snippet entitled "Arsenal Lose Again", it made me laugh out loud on the train.

They're probably more intersted in reporting on that girlie sport they play - rounders, oops, baseball..

Glad we won, thought it was deserved. There again, good time to catch the Gunners. Don't worry, there's plenty of time to catch up with the flash Harry's from Kings Road.

Always enjoy watching Arsenal/Liverpool games, even though it doesn't always make pleasant viewing ;) - it hasn't for the last four years anyway.

The last 4 years have been payback for the 2001 FA Cup Final, the day you mugged us.
