yo guys where can u buy tickets for the FA cup game at Villa???

Ive never been to a arsenal game in my life, just never had the chance to get down to london, not to mention the fact its hard as nails to get a highbury ticket.

Thanks for any help

You have no chance mate, not evn every season ticket holder will get one!!!

You'll have to pay about £500 if you want one, black market

It's a rule. I don't know the exact rule, but it has SOMETHING to do with running towards the keeper, although the rule also (if i'm correct) can be interpreted(sp?) differently. So the ref was about 50% right.

I really am starting to feel it's over.

By the way lads Happy St. Totteringham Day! it's that special point in the season where it is Mathematically impossible for Spurs to catch us in the table.

Is it just me or does that day get earlier every season

By the way has anyone ever visited the Up the arse site, it has great items such as the how long since spurs last won the title counter and the Tony Adams poetry corner containing gems uch as:

Wee Willie Pleatie
Kerb crawling through the town
Back streets and Kings Cross
In his night gown
Rapping at the windows
Crying through the locks
"How much for a quickie love?
And can I wear my socks?"

The goal of Henry was disallowed because according to the referee, when the goalkeeper kicks up the ball, it is "still in his control". So basically cound the goalkeeper in control of the ball until it is about two meters above his foot. Anyway
If i was a referee, i wouldnt have allowed it either, its just plain cheap. Its not sportsman like. Thierry Henry is one of the best 5 strikers in the world, but the only thing i despise about him is the things he does like that. This includes quick free kicks, it may be smart, but its plain cheap, and I hate it.

We had it done to us against leeds 3 years ago, and it's fair so just except it! Oh and by the way, one of the best 5 strikers in the world?! He's the best! Who's better than him then!?!

Shevchenko

You're having a laugh. Sheva's a world class player but not on the same level as Thierry. Plain and simple! ;)

Beside the freekick, I dont think Sheva is not on the same level. But I do agreed that the supporting to the attacker, Arsenal played very well.

He's alert and thinking intuitively, it's not cheap at all. Sure does anger opposing fans though :) . Not that it matters now, but I always thought that you could tackle the ball off a keeper after he has made contact and kicked it. So, for example, you jump in just as the kick is released. Doesn't really matter now, anyway. The win is all that matters and sets us up for some very busy and arduous weeks to come.

Cant'w wait for the United encounters. Lord knows how tough those matches are going to be. They'll go all out to stop our great run and we'll want to make them yet more miserable. Great stuff. Meeting Chelski in the CL is somewhat of an anti-climax but I'll take it. Odds on both games ending 2-1 in our favour? Pool and Newcastle would probably have been tougher tasks last year but they'll still both pose a challenge. Luckily we'll have a rest in the shape of Sp*rs near the end of April.

Henry is one of the top strikers in the world, but I still think he's behind Shev, Ronaldo and Raul...............all have been consistently brilliant in the very top games.

How many times have u wanted to do this? Plus there is no risk of getting done with GBH :D

Looks like a very tough run in. Hopefully Alex will play his u19 squad with phil neville as captain, and the scousers will play little mikey upfront with heskey.

i think the game i'm most worried about is the Bolton one. I hate those b*stards! Tenacious terriers!

Granted they are a boogie team but they're the least of my worries.

FD

very true indeed...

Arsenal have appointed a naming rights specialist for the new stadium.

http://www.arsenal.com/thestadium/story17.html

I hope we get something good and the name only applies to the stadium, not specific Ends. That would be horrible.

Oh, and the reserves beat Spurs 2-0 yesterday. Both goals from Birchall. If you can, try to get a look at the second. Great play from Cesc to make it happen. His dribbling was stunning.

Yeah I saw it on Sky Sports News, fucking quality I tell thee, Cesc is gonna be one hell of a player.

They're also in the reply to topic section where all the other emoticons are.

one thing that stands out is that those players you talk about are World Class Strikers, where as Henry appears to be more of a all round great player, hence for me World Player of the Year so far, his team play is one of his biggest assests, yet you watch Ronaldo fumble the easiest of pass's and Shevy I aint seen him play but looks hot these last few weeks.

Shevy and Ronnie are out and out strikers , same goes for Raul(buts he been poor by his standards this year) on the whole I would go for Henry, not just because of his goals but things he does off the ball, runs, pass's etc etc

So Henry aint the best 'Striker' in the world he certainly is at the moment the best 'Player' , well thats my opinion.

Some interesting thought there Harvy, and I've gotta say, Henry must be a brillliant player if he can pass the ball, off the ball. That must be a very unique skill.  ;)
