brother we're almost there I'm playing and it's like watching a real game the thing I like most is that I finally see the fouls and then the movement of the players is beautiful the players without the ball try to break free to receive the ball really beautiful unique what I would improve are perhaps the head shots that are too lethal and perhaps I would increase the speed a little but a really great gameplay thanks

Gamespeed looks in the video perfect but as i said, with people who are getting more than 60fps the game gets double the speed as in the video (sadly) is it possible as a test to get a heavy slow version?Maybe this will work better for people with high FPS (>100Fps) ?

Just lock the fps. Via vsync or some tool.
 
i know but when you play all games smooth at over 100fps and then lock one game at 60fps its breaking my eyes 🤣
Haha. Slow and Medium versions in the works.

They will be good options too, but I still think you'll get the best experience in terms of behaviour, ball etc from this version though.

Tough one to explain, but even something like speed of the players will impact the first touch and mentality more than you'd realise.

I subscibed to patreon, and I like gameplay ... better than vanilla for sure. Will start carrer mode with this one.

But can you help me to achive graphical look of the game to match like yours in lets say this video
What needs to be downloaded ?

Only played 1 game so far with v14 and its amazing. Everything is so alive right now. I still think the use of right stick together with sprint button to run is not as useful as vanilla. It usually knocks it too far ahead. Also, I can't seem to dribble past opponents. Maybe we need to learn a new way to play now?
Also, high through pass goes too far sometimes. Can't remember if this was also the case in vanilla.
All in all, fantastic job as always Anth!!

Thanks for joining! To get this look, you just want to get @6ons1 'Esim'. I use the turfs, camera and colour grade mods. Then I add in my reshade over the top of it. I usually play with EA Gamecam, Broadcast or Tele cam. Hope this helps!

The dribbling is definitely there now - especially with highly skilled players. It's definitely more difficult than vanilla though, no question.

With the right stick, try using a lot less power when you use it. There's a greater scope for error with it, and it's based on who is dribbling as well, but if you just touch slightly you can still keep the ball under control. It's just a bit of a re-calibration in how you use that aspect. Same with the high through ball. Deliberate decision and it really helps the mechanics and what you can do with that pass, but you just have to adjust to the change :)

But in all honesty though, 99% of my goals in vanilla FIFA since FIFA 20 has been cutbacks. I would love to score more goals from crosses, through pass, lob pass, lobbed through pass or just dribbling on the box(like prime Messi).
 
Also another thing which never happens in vanilla FIFA is the CPU sprinting when they have the ball(other than that weird ball knock they do). So it's cool to see CPU scoring goals that aren't just passing around the box(tiki taka) with constant cutbacks.

Exactly. This has been a big focus of mine, and it's something that doesn't come easy. When it comes to behavioural changes, it's not a few values that do the trick - it's figuring out what causes the behaviour and trying to find ways around it.

I have made some pretty big breakthroughs in the last week or two and this has opened up the variety of the game so much in my opinion on both the defensive and attacking ends. The pitch is so much better balanced that it was. It's not that the middle of the field is suddenly open and a weakness either, it's now just that you can attack and defend well in all areas, and you see this in CPU behaviour as well as what you can create yourself.

There's still more I want from it, but it's in the best shape I've had it since I started back on FIFA 20.

...and yes, the through ball is definitely viable now - CPU and User.
 
Some exciting clips there dude. This is exactly what's missing, A CPU that innovates and plays based on it's surroundings, it was frustrating to see the COM dribble along the byline or just do it's ninja shit outside the penalty area and never pass or shoot even though the opening is there.

I have a "problem" with slidetackles. From when i press the button to slidetackle it responds a bit slower, causing me to time it wrong. Same with the last gameplaymod. Anyone else experiences this? Otherwise the mod is great!

Just an adjustment from default, that’s all. Better defenders will execute them slightly faster.
 
Fully agree on that one! Feels like the real thing, real soccer has to be a struggle..really impressed by what u achieved Anth! And u're reshade with e sim combined is stunnin! Thanks!
 
Only problem I see playing it last few days its AI dont follow players who are running behind lines. AI always holds offside line, but thats probably something this mod cant fix.

The defenders not being too reactive to runs is something that I’ve implemented very deliberately. They still will drop when they need to, but based on their position I have adjusted so that the defensive line will hold more appropriately. This was a pretty tricky area to tune, so I can look at refining if needed, but I feel it’s holding up really well for me so far.

By default, the lines were far too reactive to runs and it forces the whole line back and makes gaps and the overall gameplay much more end to end.

With the right ball you can play through the lines, but you have to pick your pass. Defensive coverage and awareness is much better too, so they won’t switch off etc.
 
Definitely the best gameplay mod since FIFA 20. I think defensively, it's the best. It feels like the old PES where goals are very hard earned. I love it!
