Will try that. Messed about with cameras and only one I have liked so far is Tele zoomed right out and as low as possible.

I can't play the game if it seems too zoomed in. Need to see as much of the pitch as possible and I don't like the camera swinging much either.
 
Only thing about dynamic is that even zoomed out as much as possible is still too narrow. But i am used to pes broacast 1 so it pretty much the same. Tele is too dull for my liking, broadcast is impossible and i am not a vertical camera kinda player.

Still you are right, way too much swinging, not as much as rugby 08 from the same folks though...
 
I'm a zoomed out tele with max height kind of guy now. Much more PES-like, you get a far better idea of pitch size and passing angles. Co-op is a good addition too, will use that in Clubs in 11.

The COOP cam is excellent for that, it's zoomed out revealing a lot of the pitch and it doesn't pan too much. It does pan, but not too much like broadcast.

Is FIFA online still really frustrating then?

(I gave up playing online in football games about christmas time when i realized that no British people play manual matches online. That and PES being unplayable.)

Not really mate. I've been having a blast playing and have enjoyed every game, even the ones I lost. Just remember to choose the right teams based on how strong your apponent is.
 
Finished my Brazil campaign (heroically beat Holland 2-0 then lost 2-1 to Portugal in the Qtrs), went back to my England qualification campaign and already getting bored, sure it's pretty and the new ball physics are lovely but playing with international teams just seems so stale and boring for me, I miss the ups and downs of a relegation dogfight or promotion push of manager mode, plus of course rebuilding your squad by selling off the deadwood and signing new players, problem of course is going back to Fifa10 after this, not so easy as there's lots of nicely improved control/response/player individuality improvements in this, guess I muddle through until RDR comes out then needn't worry for a while :)
 
Funny, but at the same time, depressing. The table slanted firmly in favour of one team is a well known trait in both PES and FIFA. Don't know why he didn't just quit.

I don't like the way it jumps to players om near touch line after a pass down the line. Tried them all. Different heights. Different zoom.
Tele down low as poss zoomed all the way out is the best for me.

And the guy in the vid is a whiney little cock. Notice he was a diagonal up down assisted player. Didn't whine then did he the gimp?!!!

It's depressing how some gamers seem to believe that in their video game world they are infallible, it's always the game's fault :CRY: . It's never that his constant spamming of first-time passes is playing himself into trouble.

The pausing, the abusive messages, the assisted ping-pong... I'll stay offline I think :TTTH:
 
Wow, that video is awesome. I'm sure we can all say we've felt like that before!

How is the single player? I found 10 almost unplayable due to the crap AI and shockingly noticable 'scripting' (don't want to get into it again, but basically the fact that whether your shots were saved/scored was decided before you took them, so keepers could jump anywhere between 1" and about 8 feet accordingly)

Am needing a footie fix, is this better than picking up PES2010 on the cheap? (as a refresh from FIFA10?)

Yup, he did look shite too - all ping-pong passing, looked ridiculous - why didnt he just hoof it clear at times?

Notice the other guy didnt have the same problems and I fail to believe the game would 'pick' one side to be the winner in a 2 player game.

He should go to anger management, jumped up little prick.

Partly because ping-pong assisted passing usually makes it so easy to move the ball up the field while keeping possession, I guess.

On a similar note, I was wondering the other day... why do most gamers opt to take short goal kicks so often rather than launching it long like the vast majority of real goal kicks? We all do it, probably without realising that it's not what you'd normally see on a Saturday.
