i dont think its amazing, but it is an improvement over 10, there is no doubt about that, the game does keep getting better...... that is good for all of us

Try going to other airports maybe ? Valladolid and Zaragoza are around 2 hrs away by train and Ryanair fly there, you might get a cheap flight...

About the online WC though, do you actually create a tourney and then have it fill up with 32 people or, as it seemed Humber was saying in that interview, do you just get randomly matched up with someone playing at the same stage of the competition, all the way through until the final?

I thought it'd be a bit cooler if you could check the bracket and actually see who's on the other side and how they're doing so perhaps you end up in the final against some guy who you noticed was beating everyone's ass on the way there. Might give an added sense of pressure. If you end up in the final against some random dude who happened to get there as well, kind of takes you out of it a bit doesn't it? I know that setting up a tourney and then having someone never play their game would be a problem as well but something about, play 1st group stage match, come back 2 days later to play second, have guy quit on you, have next guy quit on you, top your group with a crazy GD, sounds kind of crappy.

I'm not sure what else they could've done, but that mode really isn't sounding as sick as it once did.

And LOL at EA for making us play classic matches with current teams. Makes not including some sort of 10 v 10 even more justified now doesn't it? :ROLL: As if the addition of a scenario mode really took that much work in the first place as Humber said.
 
played online today and yes i expected it but the auto spammers are dain ma tits in. I love the world cup online but there should be a manual only edition.

on a plus side the games vs cpu are far better, whoever, said it is right you can feel the difference between players, christophe berra is clumsy as fuck and shaun maloney is weightlesss and headless but it translates to the game well. I have to repeat though the presentation is awesome.

No but you can go back in a parallel universe and play old scenarios with current day squads... I think that is a much better deal thank you very much.

Edit: Oh it has CYC which is bap.. I thought BAP was online BAP.

it worth a rent... it´s surely fun to play a qualifyer and a world cup, but that´s it!

The full game, for me, doesn´t worth the price. It´s boring after 10 matches, just like Fifa 10. Won´t buy a game to play only online with (maybe 5 or 10) manual friends.

Well, after a week playing only Fifa WC i am back playing WE2010, and still enjoying it :P
 
glad i didn't buy this

feels very much like fifa 10 online. infact i don't even have chance to notice the differences, it is the same old

won't be renting this further than the week
 
Ok I'll spare you the regurgitation of pros and cons, as you could probably already guess what they are.

I just thought I'd point out something that I've not seen mentioned.

Your control of the ball.

The top players can escape wild lunges far better than in Fifa10. Fabregas can get a tackle and still retain the ball if the tackle isn't accurate. I've already done this a few times. So good. Also, when you are tackled, the better players don't do that ridiculously huge stumble that leads to comical too-ing and fro-ing of possesion in midfield.

Another improvement is tackling. I tackled with gerrard near the by-line and not only did he escape cleanly with the ball but he also flicked the ball after the tackle to keep it from rolling out of play. Genius.

The play isn't fast for me. Especially when playing on slow. You can actually build up some decent moves by knocking it about the backline and then hitting the midfield. I've got some vids to upload that display some of the good stuff I've been talking about.

This is definitely the best football game this gen (gameplaywise).

I read someone here saying we can create players in this game, i cant find it... does anyone know where we can do that(not talking about CYC) i want to creat Neymar and a few others for the brazilian team.

I think you need to create them in CYC then import them to play in normal games. Not sure though.
 
I've tried the ONLINE WORLD CUP.
But I made a mistake.
When it asked me what was the team I want to "defend" I went for the wrong one.
Then it asked me what was the team I was going to use for the cup.

Two different questions.
Is there a way to change the team I want to fight for in the online ranking? I cannot find a way to change it.

This is wihout a doubt the best football game created to date. Playing on WC mode, slow, full manual. I dont understand people going back to old PES games they just dont come close and Ive owned everyone since the N64 all the way through to PS3 versions. All of this is only my oppinion of course.
 
if this was £25 I would maybe pick it up but even then I unsure as I would only play online and I think I would hardly find any games.

in FIFA 10 finding people who play semi-assist was very hard and I guess for you manual players it was even harder.
 
they need to do something about the england stats and soon, they are ridiculously fast, all of them and because of that everybody goes them online its dain ma tits in.
