XBox 360 Recompilations

This phenomenon is happening all over the industry because literally anyone can do this with a Claude/ChatGPT subscription. Nearly all games are being statically recompiled and the results vary widely in quality. Some are nothing more than the emulator by another name and some truly push the game to be fully native.

A true native port would not use the Xenos renderer at all but would replace it with Vulkan. This is an order of magnitude more work than simply running RexGlue. The potential benefits though are enormous. It can even add things like ray tracing and other features of modern games.

Good, Big greedy corp in gaming & software industry can go fuck themselves.

I just hope all these guys that recompling games or app better be quick before gov took their dirty hands to regulate AI
Yeah right now I think the AI companies are looking the other way while people commit piracy on an unprecedented scale because they are getting millions of new subscribers and thus showing potential earnings for their trillion dollar IPOs.

Also worth noting that there are open source models which you can run on your local GPU or a rented cluster which can’t be regulated. Granted, these open source models aren’t nearly as good as Claude or ChatGPT, yet.

Looks like its finally here:

but this is xbox 360 version... no sense, because there was already esixts the native PC version, and it had also the advantage on PC to have many graphic and improvement patches... another thing was if he recompiled the ps4 version with ignite engine,

huh? this is 2014 FIFA World Cup standalone game, which was released only for ps3/xbox360
i think you are talking about FIFA 14, which was released on ps3/xbox360 and pc with impact engine, and on ps4/xbox one with ignite engine

I thought there was a World Cup for PC too, but maybe they imported inside fifa 14, world cup with a patch...

The standalone for xbox 360 i suppose still used impact engine or not?!? did it have a different gameplay respect FIFA 14?

There was no PC port of FIFA WC 2014. Neither was there any PS4 port of FIFA WC 2014.

As you can see reading last my answer above I was confusing them so now I ask about FIFA World Cupa 2014:

the gameplay is the one of Fifa 14 or different? It used Impact engine or ignite one?

Impact engine. Feels slightly more responsive than regular FIFA 14. As for gameplay itself, way too many offsides.

Otherwise, definitely better than the mod released for fifa 14 pc version because it has full presentation, cutscenes and the graphics look drastically better than regular fifa 14 which has some of the worst visuals among all fifa games.

If anyone's interested in trying it out and playing it, I've made a recomp of PES 6 (X360) for Windows here: https://github.com/iptory/pes6-native.git
I'm tryng to use your builder but it seems to don't make anything... CPU usage by builder is not on working after more of twenty minutes:

its still blocked on "Preparing source..." after more of twenty minutes even though I have installed all the required prerequisites

Same! Also install of the game should be easy like other recomp games. And also too much prerequisites programs.

Same as well. Now that Switch 2 recomps appear to be on the horizon, eFootball Kickoff would be exciting to try. It’s not totally clear to me how different it is from standard eFootball.

How can I use this, can you help?
you need my tool... I recompiled the xbox 360 iso that I modded with real licensed names and logo when tested with the emulator

maybe I release soon on PES 6 forum section inside my thread... , an installer for Windows native recompiled game, as soon as I've studied some changes I'd like to make to it... like a setting.exe for the selectable resolutions and maybe some other ideas that will come to mind if it's feasible and I'll have time to dedicate it

At this point, I wonder if mods will start coming out for this version? Because the Xbox version of PES 6 isn’t just a simple PES 2008 demo. It’s a much better game than 2008. They’ve kept all the dynamics from PES 6, and the graphics are even better. I hope many mods will be created for this version in the future.

ok I just create with LLM "AI" assistance a new recompiler for PES6 that worked for me on my PC:

Is it any better than playing on Xenia? The bar for any recompilation should be as good as the emulator. Anything less should be considered inadequate. The ceiling is of course limitless but the first ceiling to clear should be higher FPS, resolution and LODs. From here it could go any number of directions: online play, optimization for low powered devices (such as mobile devices), modification capabilities for new or higher resolution assets, gameplay modifications etc.

While I support everyone’s efforts, statically recompiling the code and stopping is simply Xenia emulation by another name. Many recomps fail to achieve even the baseline performance of the emulator.

Just so i understand correctly are you saying you've put the correct kits and logos into a recomp of the 360 version pal? Or is it just the logos?

I have to take times to make tests about your questions ;)

Sincerely I can play with 360 version gameplay from time in any of my pes 6 or pes5 or also PES2008 pc games... and also pes 2008 gameplay from ps2 ported on PES6 pc is better than xbox360 one... the only boost xbox 360 has respect pes6 of PS2 gen. is the graphic, that is wrost however respect the one of PES 2008 pc while shorts and kits models are for my taste are prefereable the ones of xbox 360 version

Exciting, I'd love to see this version playable natively, despite being unfinished, the 360 version of PES 6 is a pretty underated gem and superior to PES 2008 in my opinion

you clearly have a lot more knowledge on this than me so can i ask you a couple of questions please pal? do you think based on what you've done so far someone could do a fully licensed version of pes 6 on 360 via a recomp? also the same question for a potential recomp of the switch 2 version of efootball?
