XBox 360 Recompilations

So I’ll answer about capabilities:

- Xbox 360 native port of PES 6. Currently capable. No limitations whatsoever. Just need someone to do it.
- eFootball Kickoff. Not currently capable. It appears that someone found a Switch 2 exploit but we are at the very early stages. There are lots of rumors and speculation. No emulators or game dumps are publicly available. This is a very hot topic and Nintendo will sue your ass your even asking the question. The Switch 2 is reportedly a very secure console and has things like encrypted RAM. Yet, no level of encryption is safe from AI. I can’t verify the legitimacy but there are many Reddit posts about work in progress Mario Kart World PC ports.

you need my tool... I recompiled the xbox 360 iso that I modded with real licensed names and logo when tested with the emulator

maybe I release soon on PES 6 forum section inside my thread... , an installer for Windows native recompiled game, as soon as I've studied some changes I'd like to make to it... like a setting.exe for the selectable resolutions and maybe some other ideas that will come to mind if it's feasible and I'll have time to dedicate it
or you can just open a PR with the changes into the repo :)

@sleevel

I can answer to your doubts about performance of this PC build of the game (xbox360 PES 6 recomp)

On my pc it works nativelly really better than with xenia emulator

This a little video with my phone from my 4k 32" monitor:

EDITED LATER:

Unfortunately after another match I noticed that there is an annoying "scratching" audio noise each time whenever a replay begins, occurring as the PES6 logo moves diagonally across the screen, accompanied by little stuttering at the start of this sequence. The rest of the game seems perfect during the matches

How did you get the builder to work? Mine is unresponsive :((

Alright, in a bit when it's ready I'll push what I hope for to be a final update for a while until I feel another QOL feature that's heavily requested is worthy of being implemented in the project. Most important thing is the easier install flow, and it doesn't getting stuck. You're free to open any PRs or issues inside the repository for any error that you may have found (or something that you would like to see being implemented), or anything that you would like to contribute with to the project.

Edit: Pushed. Next will address Linux, Android, perhaps some way of making Xbox Live work for online matches, "unlock the cutscene framerate from measly 30 to 60 with correct speed", and "annoying "scratching" audio noise each time whenever a replay begins, occurring as the PES6 logo moves diagonally across the screen, accompanied by little stuttering at the start of this sequence".

We have to find a way to unlock the cutscene framerate from measly 30 to 60 with correct speed. It's a must.

I personally think PES 06 on x360 had better grass textures and lighting compared to PES 08 where the grass kinda looks ugly. The 2d grass that is. The 3D grass on PES 08 looks beautiful.

on my previous video FPS during cutscenes already sign 60 fps
the fps counter is showing 60 but is it really 60? The game can render at 60 fps but if the camera panning and character animations are still running at 30 fps without frame blending, it will still look like 30 fps.

I found that out the hard way after spending hours on 2010 fifa world cup to remove the 30 fps cap on that game. It's finally rendering at 60 fps on cutscenes, gpu usage went high due to that, but it just looks like 30 fps.

Your video was captured at 30 fps, so there's no way to see how it looks. But one thing I did notice was that there are stutters on the cutscenes when players are in the tunnel.

generally in my other PC PES games if cutscenes are cappet to 30 fps, my fps counter show it... but maybe your doubts are legits, I don't know

I haven't noticed of any stuttering during entrance scenes
