No Terry? I didn't follow him or Chelsea lately, but why would you leave him alone? Late punishment for 2010? Or is he really too old to play on WC level?

And what's with Walcott? Again left out of a WC squad?

So Hodgson picked Luke Shaw as backup for Baines. No Cashley Cole, no Kieran Gibbs?
Maybe Cole wouldn't be a very positive influence in the dressing room and has seen his better days, but I think Gibbs is ahead of Shaw and wouldn't be a problem, as he's a very down to earth boy and also considering it's clear Baines will be the undisputed starting left back.

England's back four doesn't look too bad, but Johnson will have to be more disciplined defending and you'd better wish for no injuries or suspensions, because the backup CBs aren't good enough for WC level.

As for strikers it's pretty clear the best partnership is Rooney and Sturridge. But it's in the midfield that lies many doubts. Hodgson was a wealth of midfielders for only 4 spots and Gerrard, the captain, will be one of them.

If I could decide, this would be the starting 11.

----------------------Hart---------------------
---Johnson----Cahill-------Jones-----Baines----
---------Wilshere---Gerrard---Lallana----------
-------------------Sterling--------------------
----------Sturridge-----------Rooney-----------

If it was up to me: I'd leave the diamond 4-4-2, put Jagielka instead of Jones and switch Cahill to the left. I'd also put Henderson as RCM, Wilshere as LCM and Rooney as AM. The partnership upfront would a Sturridge-Welbeck cambo.

i would pick...

--------------------- Hart -------------------

Johnson ---- Jagielka ----- Cahill ---- Baines

----- Henderson -- Gerrard ----- Lallana ----

----------------- Wilshere ------------------

-------- Rooney ----------- Sturridge -------

That guy shouldn´t even play football and goes to the WC?!

Algeria should not be in the WC at all, if you think about it. Burkina Faso shoud share the group with Germany, Portugal and USA.

In the second leg of the playoff against Burkina Faso Madjid Bougherra, who even scored the winner if I'm not wrong, was supposed to be suspended as he was sent off in the first leg

I heard that in quile a lot of newspapers. FIFA was to take a decision on tbe topic and eventually let them play. It's like Henry's hand five years ago.

There you go, as you can see he didn't even get a card that match.
That was all false accusations from the Burkinabese FA, so their team can get the ticket, even worst we were the ones that suffered from bad refereeing that day as the ref gave them two inexsitent pens.
It's outragous that you're making such statements without any knowledge what so ever on the events, If anyone had the right to claim anything it was us.

Okay, you proved me wrong. I didn't intend neither to be rude nor to offend you with my statements if you consider I've been, and I apologize. Apparently the source where I got it from was rubbish :P

I apologize as well, I didn't see this until I saw your reply. My post wasn't meant to have an agressive tone, I was merely trying to set you straight, perhaps the use of the word "outragous" was a bit too much this time.
