I know it is not the proper thread, but any rumour about fifa? The haven't come up with the usual 100 pages of BS, it might actually be a good sign.

Or they are waiting for Peter Moore to come back from vacation and give a 2 hours show about it.

Is it just me or does the Goalie kick the ball in his own goal twice in that video
Well at least i now know what Suff and Adonis look like :).

Either the big boss is the father or uncle of one of the two (often u can't tell.......) or there is a shortage of manpower in amsterdam these days.......most annoying jerks of the month. Maybe of the year.

From the little bits of gameplay you could see it looked almost identical to PES6.

Yes I agree with you ! I just watched the video and it is even worse then their preview from last week.
What about somebody who shoots the ball with the keeper in his own goal :D
Can you take it seriously if such a person says that PES 2008 the new FIFA is?
They also named some points why not to buy the game. Like PES is going towards FIFA, the sphere is not lively enough, compared with FIFA but another point was 'PES ruins your live' They didn't like the big pitch.
Good points were the editor, the way to select players when taking cornerkicks and the good gameplay. Shooting was better. Diving feature.
They didn't see much differences with previous versions.
That's about it! No teamvision talk, no free kick talk. Nothing special.

My contact play in a advanced version (better than press one) and it's like real football, but first time you think is same gameplay of PES6 but after the game become incredible and so realist.

Yes, that's always how it goes with PES :)
Can he check the option file or doesn't his version use one? I like to know if the OF and the profile are in the same file....

that is also what some german reviewers said... first it feels like PES 6 but with better AI... but after a several matches you can really feel/see the difference. which make it more realistic compared to PES 6

we should not trust these 2 kids opinions too much. I remember the last time I scored an own goal like that in ANY footy game was when I was about 13 yrs old. These kids dont exactly look and play like game veterans or even seasoned journalist for that matter! That younger kid looks like his game apreciation is bashing moles on the head with a big hammer at the seaside!
I want to see the opinion of the Evo web boys before I make a judgement
Having said thatm they got theur hands on a bloody copy!!! damn them!

YAY im playing ISS with Jon and Lawro they arent bad at all.

Champion sounds a little wooden although i think it's more to do with the tech limitations, lawro on the other hand is a revelation, he sounds brilliant.

OMG this is great "Just to let the viewers know if the score is still nil nil at the end of 90minutes of play we will have extra time, and if there is still no winner, it will all come down to a penalty shootout" i thought he was actually talking to me! :|

I hope that with the ps3 version of the game you won't need an eyetoy to upload a face image. I hop you can just upload it to the hard drive.

As a pro evo fan for nearly ten years....since iss pro on ps1..and after owning every copy of the game in all it's various incarnations - winning eleven, pro evo - on every platform...including psp and gba!..I can say I have never looked forward to a release as much as this one. 2 weeks ago i was worried this was a basic update of the very average 360 release last year. however after seeing all this game has to offer - improved master league, graphics, animations, editing, photo input, etc....it appeasr to be shaping up better than i hoped.

i know some people will be critical whatever...but i don't think we can expect much more from pro's debut on a new format! I'm happy!:):):):)...and custom nets is everything! mustard!\\:o/

Me too i hope, but isn't a secret (i think) you can use all USB webcams, no need EyeToy.

tg cant you just put a pic from your pc on to a pen drive and upload the picture onto the ps3 like that

Hi guys, my first post around here \\:o/

Watching the vid I also noticed the gk scoring in his own goal, and I think that maybe that is why seabass said that he wasn't very happy with the 360 movement. Is that, or I've definitely never seen such a terrible player :lmao:

Please excuse my english, it really sucks :applause:

maybe there is more freedom now as you can shoot it into your own goal with the goalie.

you could never do it before right? you could only pass it in but not shoot?

But in the dutch preview vid they said that you can use your image from an xbox live cam. But maybe these uys were just assuming this.

I am a real noob about importing a face; maybe somebody can tell me (us) if you need a webcam or is it sufficient to upload a photo from yourself?

Wow been off line for only a day or so come back and start reading Stringers all new ML structure, got so excited I had to go and pee, came back and read on to JB's version and now I'm depressed and not all together sure what the hell is going on, I must be mad to have thought for one minute Konami would actually see sense and sort the ML out..........

Ok, first I've had this in my mind for a while now, Konami has the license for the JLeague teams, that is why they release a JLeague version every year, now I'm thinking, how come they don't include those teams in the normal version and that way we have more teams? I don't get it, it bothers me.

Anyway, I was thinking (again :P) and if the ML has 5 divisions 10 teams each, I say they drop 2 divisions and keep it nice and simple with 3 divisions at least for this version until they get more teams, 3 div is pretty good for me. With 5 divisions there is a total of 50 teams with 10 teams each div, if they drop 2 they have 20 teams left, so then the 3 divisions would be as follow:

Division 1: 18 teams

Division 2: 16 teams

Division 3: 16 teams

Total: 50 teams

This sounds pretty good to me, and with JLeague, and wutever other league they might add, we could probably even have 4 divisions, who knows, feel free to comment on my idea.
