John Champion commentated for MotD between 1995 and 2001, when he moved to ITV. He now works for Setanta Sports as thier main commentator and does some UEFA CL commentating for ITV.

Those two boys are a shame with the ball. They are, also, a couple of morons. But they make me laugh about the fact Ronaldo is gay, very creative those two :lol:

ABout other commentators, I heard about three months that Julio Maldonado "Maldini" was recording the comments for PES2008. A great addition, that lad is one of the fewest commentators who knows something about football in Spain. He is/was a writer at AS newspaper. The best there, by far.

Motty and lawro are the 2 worst combos on TV. They are like a bunch of old women who go off the subject and laugh amongst themselves. Their voices by themselves however aren't necessary annoying and as long as they get given a good script then it would be alright with me. I loved the commentary on This is football 2003 (i think) with one of the commentators off ITV.

e.g. Peter Crouch takes a shot at goal and it takes a big deflection and goes out for a corner. FIVE seconds later Motty will shout, "I THINK IT TOOK A DEFLECTION THERE!...YES, YES IT DID!"

So it looks like the face import feature is only to create yourself in the game, not to use on already existing players. Great Konami.

Jon Champion does a lot of the Champions League games for ITV.

Peter Brackley and Trevor Brooking (the previous pair) hardly ever commentate on TV.

Yeah Brackley does a few Italian games on Bravo, Brooking hasn't done assistant commentry since the England/Germany 5-1 game!

Jon Champion is a regular Champions League commentator for ITV, Lawro is assistance commentator for EVERY big match shown on the BBC!

Well done Konami, finally!

MORE NEWS ON THE IMPROVED MASTER LEAGUE

I have just got my of the phone to my super contact, and here is what i got from him.

He said that there will be a second division for each league, which are the Dutch, English, Spanish, French and Italian league. There will be a 30 team slot where you can create brand new teams. There also so be the usual other teams, which might contain additional teams that Konami are negotiating on.

I asked him about the Master League and he told me there will 3 or more divisions. He said the first and second divisions will contain 20 or 18 teams depending on what country you pick...and the other divisions is filled by the teams already in the game or the ones you've created. He said he wasn't sure how the other leagues will be like, but his guess 3 other leagues containing 20 teams. Thats all he can tell me.

I asked him about EPL license and the Bundeliga...he told me i need to ask someone in Germany about it, they'll know.

He said the PS3 version will be the best, but the PC can be the best depending on how powerful ones PC is. He said that the X-Box 360 version won't as god as the PS3/PC.

Thats all the information he can give me. He said he'll tell me all this even though he knows i'll leak the information...He said just as long as i don't mention his name.
