You dare ask for a "run" button? We've been wanting that for years, however Seabass has stated that we are all idiots, and the game doesn't need it.

I've fantasized about that feature many times in my imaginary perfect game.

Anyway i love the end of the teaser when u can see that deco foot goes down deep into the grass. Nice little touch

So when are we getting the new stuff??

It's an evolution because they are the same graphics with new textures. A revolution would simply mean new graphics.
Just like FIFA needs to dump and remap its gameplay, PES needs to dump its graphics engine and rewrite for next-gen.

Until they completely dump the cartoony look, there will always be a huge graphical gap between reality and FIFA on one hand, and PES's "next-gen" on the other.



I've just noticed that the grass's green is reflecting on Fifa's ball. Next-gen graphics. There is current-gen, and then there is next-gen.

I think pes lacks sofisticated next gen lightning, some next gen effects like blur and real cloth movement and some shaders for the details (little bumps and holes in the clothing and skin). The lightning is absolutely the worst. I actually believe that it's like the lightning in pes current gen, if that even had lightning. I like the way cristianos shirt creased as he was running but i think it needs a lot more creases to make it look realistic.

Fifa 08 have now manual passes. wow.. 6 years ago i play pes2 with manual passes. When you want to play a game who lag 3-5 years to pes and have CURRENT-GEN Gameplay! than do it....and have fun with your superb fifa 08 grafics in replays. In Gameplaymode the games looks the same...but not play the same! That is the huge difference!

I Actually push the L1 button in the hope that the code will break and somhow allow us to use a feature that was in fifa 2003 :(

The current run system is really good and realistic, FIFA could only dream of having a similar system. But it would be great if you can push a button that changes the direction another player is running at...

1-press and he runs forward (unless he already is)
2-presses and he runs into the pitch...
3-presses and he runs outwards...

Combine that with a powerbar on the thru passes to determine the distance away the ball will be pushed to, and that's all you'll ever need.

Think of the gameplay possibilities....

I love this goal.

See how the heel flick pushes the ball away... in PES2008 video the move hardly pushes the ball and the move is as ineffective as the elastico animation.

PS - I love the way crowds cheer every pass made when the team is winning....

Good post about the cultural thing Jack...i actually lived in Japan for nearly a year and i know the Japanese culture pretty well. I've never thought about it, but i think you're spot on concerning the look of the game...

Oh and about the soundtrack of both games...

There's only one song on bot: The Stones: You can't always get what you want..

Since he is a juve fan the news is probably about some match fixing button combinations.....since u can dive u might be able to cheat like juventus as well........

LOL I think I know about what part of the game we have to think.
He said that a contact of ThomasGoal unintentionally dropped about editing the stadium in the MasterLeague. So? Make your conclusions ;)
We should look in the ML part :)
I think that is the surprise Konami has for us in Leipzig.
Non of the previewers sofar wrote inpleciet about the ML....

As somebody says before, this thread is FULL of crap.
Nothing interesting in the debate. I don't really understand why a terrible game like FIFA is even mentioned. It is so funny...

To be honest, this information "the secret one" are not from my contact friend, but one other contact and i don't know really him, but freMM confirm too me this news.
