I wonder how the news is going to pan out, we know the 5th well get news, hopefully a 5 page spread, then the 11th(ish) a good shot at footage at E3, then perhaps a few months wait while news surrounds WE, then a rush of news in Late september October. Still cant wait for two weeks time

I promise you guys we will do our best to make up for it. Right now the Schedule is receiving it 2-4 weeks before release. Im sure we'll play it before then, but its not really something worth mentioning as we wont be able to chat about it.

When we do get the game everyone will benefit, I guarantee it.

Why, on supposedly more powerful machines like the PS3 are we seeing:

I can not find a logical explanation. I don't care whether it's beta or even pre-beta. Please justify this. The only explanation I have is Konami's art department, or at least the department assigned to Pro Evo simply aren't up to scratch.

Com'on June 5th... it's going to be a long wait.

I'd second that "close thread" suggestion, if only I was 100% sure we won't hear any news till the 5th. But these French scans just prove that any moment a magazine could come up with some 'exclusive' info...

I doubt we'll see any screens or videos though.

Exactly. When it comes to graphics, Konami acts like a cheap, amateur company.

Just look at the UGLY grass and pitch turfs (who's the genius who comes up with those?) every year. If it weren't for stadium patches, I doubt I'd be still playing the game.

Ok lets say the NDA is lifted on the 5th July, then whats stopping people from disclosing info at 1 minute past 12 on that date, when the shops are closed and before the magazine comes out? i know its only a few hours between that and the mag coming out but is it possible that people could spill the beans at exactly 1 min past 12 on the 5th?

I think the problem is finding someone sad enough to stay up that late just to leak some pics and info.

If you took some time to think about it, you'd realise its because you have more 3D character models on the screen in a football game than in games like the one you've shown. And each player on the pitch has a more advanced AI which takes up more processing power. Games like FIFA look a little better than PES but they dont have the fast pace that PES does.

wat also makes pro evolution soccer a more exiting game newswise is that the build up is longer which basicly locks the fans to the webpages because they want to hear about the greatest football game series ever and fifa reveales the're news very early

PS3 isnt by far better than dx10 pc. Crysis isn't even possible on ps3 with the same level of detail of the pc.

lol, man, actually those faces are from the game called Crysis which is coming out on PC this year and PS3 won't be able to handle it on full detail as it simply doesn't have enough RAM for it, so sometimes it's not only a matter of graphics card or processor, but a matter of memory.

But i agree, after i've seen screens of NHL 2k8, i got a lil bit dissapointed about PES graphics, but knowing that it's KONAMI and what a fantastic gameplay they were able to do on PS2 i guess we'll forget about the graphics after 5 minutes of play, cos i sense that gameplay and animations are gonna be true next-gen.

i definatly cant wait to see shirt pulling but we need untucked shirts 1st it wont look right with out it and i want to see mud on shirts and untidy shirts when they work and run alot and bring on nike boots and balls replacing ugly reebok and puma
