I hate Anti Fifa posts it can only be a good thing that Konami get pushed by other games in the right direction.
And if Fifa ever get the gameplay right (I know its a big if), Konami are screwed in Europe and America and i will gladly stick two fingers up at Konami because of how they have blown it big style by the slowest development in gameplay history.

Fifas Career mode is amazing, its frustrating their gameplay is terrible.

WE's Gameplay is amazing, its frustrating their career mode is terrible.

Totally right! :salute:

Re: Winning Eleven 10 - PS2 - Official Gossip Thread

Got to admit the new Fifa aint to bad at all. Will seriously be looking to purchase this for my X360. In the past purchasing a Fifa game would never cross my mind but since Konami cant pull their finger out of their a**** Fifa isnt too bad an alternative until the next gen WE/PES.

What's so irritating about this is the fact that Konami have got the difficult part right, but have barely even attempted to do the easier part. I don't know what the problem with EA is, but they continue to fail with their gameplay. THeir career mode and presentation is so good that I really find myself wanting to be a FIFA fan, but as soon as I've played a couple of matches I just have to stop because it's so poor. I can only think that it must have something to do with the development team's love (or lack of) for the beautiful game. You can see how well EA can do when they have people making the game who want to recreate the sporting experience (Fight Night, Tiger Woods). I'd really like to see them change things, but it's hard to believe they'll try that hard when they're guaranteed to be top of the charts with every release, regardless of how poor it is.

It doesnt matter if their licenced or not, everything will be "licenced" after a few Patches! !!!!! but its nice that konami try to licence more and more!

And when you buy the PS3 and Winning Eleven or PES on Blu Ray you says "It doesnt matter if their licenced or not, everything will be "licenced" after a few Patches! !!!!!" ;)

well even though you're right about everything being licensed after a few patches, I actually prefer most of Konami's official kits rather than ones made by makers on this forum.

Thats mainly because the textures are totally different. Most of the kits made by people here are often too bright. This affects me more seeing as I play the game through a monitor via a vga cable. Because the picture image is so sharp, everything that is at a higher contrast/brightness than what the game intially is stands out like a sore thumb! Same can be said for things like pitch textures and boots.

Thats why Im extremely happy with all these international teams being licensed. The Italian kit looks spot on :)

"Winning Eleven 10"
• new "V plate ball" the operation is public
• increases the operation completely to disintegrate
• "hangs upside down the golden hook" magnificently to be taken to the threshing ground
• the brand-new movement in detail analyzes one by one
