Yea, I quite liked it to be honest, acting was better than ff and I didn't have a clue what it was about before hand, so was quite a nice twist finding out what the 'others' actually were.
Far too many '5 minutes earlier, 20 minutes earlier, 3 days earlier, 5 days earlier 6 months earlier 4 minutes earlier screwing around.
Not to mention the whole 'I wont tell you the truth, but ill tell you a little truth while threatening you but that's all I'll tell you as I'm not saying a single word on this subject... other than that little threat but that's all you're getting...
And then this complicated plot that relied on like a million coincidences just to work... It felt like the latter days of LOST with convoluted flashes forwards and backwards to create the illusion of mystery.. but if you knew the story in the correct chronological order it loses most of it's 'whoa!' charm.
And they even poked fun at their own story with
the police woman who said that to the lad in the back of the car at the end of episode 2.
But it failed to be a cheeky little dig because it's true... it is ridiculous.
I watched and tried to work out what was going on but so far it just seemed like
'someone' wanted to force that pilot into crashing the plane into the president for whatever reason.. I assume to either stop the news of these others being told to the world... or maybe just to kill that woman or the president Either way.. the silly complicated plot was over the top. Just get a gun and fire it. But the plane then vanishes and we find out that this guys brother did it... but then killed all of the passengers? is that right so far?
I'll try the next few episodes but so far I hate it. Just seems really silly like LOST with the twists and turned whacked up to 11.
Yep, the time-jumping does stop around EP3 or so. It does seem to get better as the show goes on though, each episode is making the story better although the acting leaves a bit to be desired.
Just watched Community S01E01, thought it was really good Had me laughing out loud a few times and the characters seem pretty interesting and diverse. Definately going to continue with this one.
Community season 1 is fantastic, one of the best comedies of that year.
Cant say the same about this season tho, it has been pretty average if you ask me, but so does Big Bang Theory, Modern Family even Chuck had poor episodes, what happened
Couldnt get into Community watched first few episodes but just didnt grip me.
Also tried season and abit of Its always Sunny in Philadelphia but although was funny sometimes does not make me laugh as much as Big Bang Theory or Testees did.
I started watching first 4 episodes of Shit my dad says quite enjoying that so far quite funny.
Still looking for new comedy to watch gutted Inbetweeners packed up started catching up with that quite late im sure film going to be great send off though.
I've read the comics this weekend. I was thrilled all the time and I'm really curious now to see how the show can be developped and deep with only 6 episodes.
So did anyone watch Rubicon (also AMC)? It finished last week, or this week? Can't remember, but thought it was a really good conspiracy show. Worth a watch as it's only 13 episodes.
