Anyone watching the new series of Curb Your Enthusiasm?

I still find this show hilarious, it gets better and better every season. LD is a genius and some of the cameo performances this season have been fantastic, particularly Christian Slater in the latest episode.

On another note, did anyone watch Jeremiah a few years ago? I think it was originally broadcast between 2002-2004 and I remember catching an episode back then. Anyways, I recently picked up on it again and even though I hate everything Luke Perry has done recently and in the past, he is actually really good in this show. Him along with Malcolm-Jamal Warner create a very good partnership on-screen. It's only two seasons long, but is a pretty good. Each individual story is crafted really well and it's set in a post-apocalypse setting, my favourite. If you liked Jericho, check out Jeremiah, I have a feeling they are made by the same people.

Theo Huxtable and Dylan McKay in a post apocalyptic world? Sounds intriguing!

anybody else watching glee? really find this one a damn entertaining show, love the cast and the whole musical-comedy style of the show.
good one i think

You know I used to thought the same thing, but apart from the musical thing, this show is quite hilarious I love the flashbacks and sudden cuts they make on the scenes.
I started watching on the second episode maybe thats why I gave this show a chance cause the pilot is way worse than the second episode.
Its more than a gay musical.

Just being a musical is enough, regardless of anything else. I really do hate musicals.

Sure it is, on usenet from 50 days ago ;)

Aha, I saw that on Newzleech but thought it was one episode due to the title of the listing, will check it out tonight :)

come on,. it is not gay :TTTH:;)

i think the whole stuff in between the musical bits is really well done and overall well i think really really entertaining. plus they have had at least 2 quality music bits so far.

then again i can see why this is not for everybody. :)) still, all of my friends so far like it, and none of them is gay - at least as far as i know :P

oh and:

nice one, but they really have no idea anymore what to write and how to keep that show going. should have been wrapped up at least one season ago...

/edit: jeez i am posting a link from perezhilton.com regarding desperate housewives.

okay, call me gay. :D

I just finished watching the whole season of "BAND OF BROTHERS". Which is a 1 season long with 10 episodes. Each episode was roughly 1 hour long, and was about a group of guys in Easy Company who fought in WW2.

One of the best things I've ever watched, great action, great acting and fantastic actors. The ending had me in tears, if you haven't watched this, then you should. It's quite old now, about 9 years old.

The Pacific, airing next year, should be for you.

Whereas Band of Brothers focused on Army's involvement in the European Theater of Operations, the new series will be about the Marine Corps's actions in the Pacific Theater of Operations.

But if you have too wait 9 years...

Good to see Friday Night Lights back, interesting episode as well! :D

Anyone watching Modern Family? Pretty good so far.

I watch it too, S2 has been solid so far.

Gone right off Flashforward - the acting is so wooden and the story isn't really keeping me hooked.

Re: Lie To Me. I liked it but the fact each episode was 'singular' and it didnt really flow was irritating.

I think the first half of the season is a bit like that to 'explain' what they do and how they use it. There are a few background stories that arc over the rest of it though, and seem to have carried over to S2 (from what I saw in S2E01 last night).

Episode 12 was the best one for me so far.

Yeah I get can't get into those 'singular' episode shows, sometimes a cliffhanger can hold a show, like Flashforward, amazing cliffhangers but thats just it.

A good negative example is Dollhouse, I think it has an amazing concept, but without cliffhangers you have a sensation that there is no flow, you don't feel eager to watch the next, but when you do you don't regret.

Back to Lie to Me I think the season 2 is even better so far, I'm really enjoying the themes. I recommend it.
