The TV Show Thread

Yep, enjoyed TB ep2 myself, Stef. Seems a lot darker than season 1 :)

Agreed, very funny character and makes me laugh with his behaviour and mannerisms.

Not sure about him becoming a vampire though

True Blood - 203

1 - I love that all stories are heading to a lot of mystery.
2 - The opening scenes are very good this year.
3 - Can't wait for next episode.

9/10

Life,

Anyone watching/watched this? Just finished the 1st season and really liked it. Has good dry humour in it. Other then that its regular copstuff with a wrongly jailed cop back out to find whatever. But a good show to fill the summer.

Anyone else finding they'd rather watch TV shows than movies?

I do, only if there is a show to watch though. I'm struggling at the moment and only really have Breaking Bad to watch, so I've been watching films recently.

Started watching old episodes on Miami Vice on NBC's website. Truly amazing stuff.

Thankfully i have a program which i use which locks out my ip address and letting the site know i'm from the uk and i can watch it on the US network :)

Yeah prefer good tv shows to movies these days. Mainly because they are shorter, you'll quickly be stuck for two hours with a movie wereas a tv show only lasts 40min.

Started watching Castle thsi week. Enjoyable show, a lot like Bones in how serious/humor it has. Decent filler. Harpers Island had it's season/show finale this weekend, definitly a surprising end :D. Worth watching especially now you can watch them all after each other.

Only problem with that is other people. Other noisy sweet munching phone chatting, wrapper rustling, fecking people...

That's the reason i'll be cancelling my cinema card. I went to watch Public Enemies the other day. Sat just behind me and to my side was this couple who kept chatting away, then rustling sweet bags.

Then this old couple come in while the film's started and start walking up and down the aisles trying to decide where to sit. Eventually they sit RIGHT behind me, then start rustling their wrappers and eating loudly.

I got up and moved in the end, went to the side seats instead even though the view wasn't as good. And I could still hear those people

I enjoyed the Dexter S3 finale, good season overall. Miguel was a good character.

Its a bit weird seeing Dexter and Debra play brother and sister now.

Hmm Entourage S6 has started and seems to be popular, I'm going to start watching S1 and see what the fuss is about.

Edit: Meh, it's alright. Not as special as I expected but I'll keep watching anyway. Soundtrack is superb though

For me Entourage is one of those shows where you just keep watching because its short and barely has a proper plot. I love Drama... he's totally the man.

All of the characters are pretty good. Love Ari's rants at everyone, and they get funnier as the seasons go on (especially when Lloyd comes in).
I bet you'll like it more when Sloane (Emmanuelle Chriqui) appears ;)

Thats why I hardly go aswell, with a 37inch hd tv with surroundsound and nice confortable couch (or bed for the bedroom setup) I really dont see much point in going for most movies. Only ones I really want to see (Angels&Demons, 2012), and even then I'll go at some ridiculous time like 11am on a sunday so there won't be anybody else.

Yep. I'm planning to go and watch Harry Potter tomorrow at the 11pm showing, should be no kids then and hopefully pretty quiet :)

Eureka's back for those who weren't aware.

Watch the pilot of Warehouse 13 last week, not bad, don't like the lead woman, one of those collagen butchered lip jobs :(

friday night lights, worth watching?

also i finally found time to start with the sopranos, never got around watching that
