The TV Show Thread

Wasn't that quite a while ago?

This gap between shows really sucks, for now we're making up the slack by:

Watching Chuck for the first time (up to 2x11 now), great show.
Watching the series Castle that just ended (also a good show, up to ep 4 now).
Watching Deadwood again.
Catching up on NYPD Blue (about to start season 5).

I'm halfway through 24 S7, after that I've got:

Harpers Island to catch up on
Band Of Brothers
Brotherhood
Dexter S1 & S2
Friday Night Lights S3 catch up
Inbetweeners
The Mentalist catch up
The Wire S2 catch up
Weeds S1 & S2

So not much to watch then for me ;)

I'm currently on a big MythBusters marathon :). Big fan.

After that I'll try to catch up :
- Heroes S3 (after my strike !)
- Everybody Hates Chris S4
- Kyle XY S3
- Farscape S3 & S4
- Grey's Anatomy S4

When I was in England, I used to watched Shameless (S1 & 2). Is it worth catching up ?

Yeah, that's why I did not spoiler it, I've only watched it ***ine and was gutted when I found out...

I'm not feeling Greys Anatomy this season, the whole Izzy situation (her first storyline) smelt of desperation by the writers. Dr Burke is solely missed too, the guy from Journeyman has been a good addition to the cast though.

I'm watching Dexter for the first time, just started the 3rd season.
The 1st season was so awesome and I thought the 2nd was even better.
Lovely show, plus I have such a crush on Rita now, she a mix of hot and adorable, but damn she have a tough life so far.
It was fun to see Jacob too.

Might aswell do grey's season 5 aswell Tuta, very dramatic ending ;)

Bit stuck atm, have only got a few dollhouse episodes left, Harpers Island is getting closer to finishing (episode 8 last saterday and its really hotting up now) have still got Life season 1 lying around but other then that......

So any crime/thriller recommendations? (Ive seen Criminal Minds, CSI, Bones, Wire In The Blood, Fringe, Lost, ect) so it would need to be a more obscure series.

You watched Sleeper Cell, Tik? That was a superb show, really enjoyed that one.

ER:

i think it is amazing how they are wrapping up this show, i haven't been following it closely over the past years but finally decided to finish it up. been a regular watcher from i think season 3 onwards to about 9 or 10, stopped there, other things on my mind, but allways caught reruns and the one or other episode in between...but boy, what i missed!
the green flashback episode with banfields son in the first half of season 15 allready was pretty amazing, but bringing all of the old guys like clooney, margulies, wyle etc. together again for the finale (i am only on 15x19, so i dont know if there will be more of them) is just brilliant! i haven't read any background on why they actually cancelled it and if it had to do with michael crichtons death and i could not understand how you could pull the plug on such an excellent plot you could keep running pretty much forever, but if they really bring it to an end like they are currently on the way to i am more than happy!
under the top 3 of my alltime favorite dramas, really a wonderful show.

Agree about ER. Really enjoyed the finale too... was a nice ending. I agree about the Green/Banfield episode too, was absolutely awesome how they did it.

I'm still well behind on ER, somewhere like 13x17 lots to catch up on :)

Seen Burn Notice season 3 just started, finally another new show, sucks going from about 30 shows per week to 3 (L&O:CI, In Plain Sight, Harper's Island), also Kingdom started up again which we like :)

True Blood - 201

BEST-COP-EVER !
"I... am not... overworked."

8/10

'House' is world's most popular TV show: ratings

US drama "House", starring Britain's Hugh Laurie as unconventional medical genius Doctor Gregory House, out-gunned rivals in 2008 to become the world's most watched show on television.

According to ratings agency Eurodata TV Worldwide, House and his team of canny diagnosticians last year gathered more than 81.8 million viewers in 66 countries, representing a potential 1.6 billion viewers.

That was far more than the 2007 and 2006 winners in the same TV drama category, "CSI: Las Vegas", about a team of forensic experts, and its spin-off "CSI: Miami".

Yahoo

Well couldnt find sleeper cell (atleast not very good quality) and Intelligence was nowhere to be seen. So I ended up watching 24, have got dvd box 1-6 and was at disc one of season 3 so that should keep me going through the summer. :D

Any of you guys watched Sons of Anarchy i must say im not really into biker gang scene but its really enjoyable to watch.

I've not long started it, got up to the 4th episode ('the Patch Over') and liking it so far.
It reminded me of GTA:TLAD at first :P
