Occasionally my Windows 7 wont play sound. Everything appears fine, I see the volume levels changing as I change my sound level, I "see" sound playing, but nothing comes out.
I put in an Ubuntu disc, boot into that desktop and my sound comes on. I reset my laptop and all of a sudden Windows is playing the sound fine again.
Weird
Edit: It's just happened again, so I booted Ubuntu up and then restarted into Windows and it was fine again. I'm really confused Not sure how firing up another OS can trigger sound in another ...
I might just put Ubuntu on my laptop anyway.
