You do indeed get what you pay for but I'm still not sure whether to spend nearly £1000 on something that essentially can just increase games to 60 fps and that are higher resolution. I'm in no doubt that PCs can do incredible things but the vast majority of games to me look like they're essentially the same as consoles but at 60fps, and higher res.
I appreciate that's not the hardware's fault but game devs bridging a gap between pc and consoles, but it is what it is.
Is that really worth £1000? I don't even like games at 60fps which I'm sure will get laughed at, it doesn't look right, like watching a movie with motion flow on or a tv show with one of those cameras with extra frames that makes everything look like a home movie. There's a reason Hollywood movies only use 24fps.
