The PC Building Thread

Ok cheers. Thanks.

I do need windows but my mate has a copy he said I can have.

Just get the PC I priced up the other day as can't really beat the price.

The case is also available in blue or red so it is down to your preference. It does apparently have enough clearence for the graphics card.

I would also leave the SSD for the time being unless you want to fork out another £50 for one.

Get the RAM from ebuyer to save £12.

There isn't really much else you could change to save money as you have the best components available for the price.

When you go on Aria to buy the products just type in the quickfind code in the search engine and make sure you click on the Super Saver deal price and add to basket.

cheers thanks for your help.

I dont think I need 1TB of memory - can you recomend a smaller one on that site and then I may get SSD card if it comes to about the same price?

thanks

Memory = RAM not hard drive space.

Most PC games these days are 3-10gb you'll quickly fill up 1tb, you are in essence wasting money if you buy a smaller drive as 1tb drives are about best in terms of size/cost ratio.

Getting cold feed about building it in case I or the person doing it fucks it up.

Are there any good sites out there that have good gaming PCs ready built for about £500-£600?

thanks

Unfortunetly not for £500 - £600 the specs will be very poor for the price you will get a much worst machine.
If you lived in Hampshire I would build it for you and you could collect, but I think you said your from Essex aren't you?

But I wouldn't worry about building it that part is very easy, it is installing and configuring Windows which is the slight issue.

I'm only in Warrington, give me £100 and I'll put it together for you :D

i think its easier to just buy a built pc, the amount of trouble its took and its still under is beyond a joke, turns out hard drive isn't working either. put me right off building one again for sure

Sorry to hear that. Which hard drive did you buy? And what's wrong with the system? You say it's still not stable; can you be more specific?

Well that was kind of my point with everyone can build a PC the installation of Windows is the hardest part.
I personally would never buy a pre built one you will get a massive downgrade spec wise.

I will build anyone on here a PC if they are really not confident if they pay for the parts and the courier to where they live.

basically i couldn't get it to appear as a driver so thought just to be sure i'm not doing it wrong, took it to the shop and they had fair look at it and few days later got it back saying that its not working (that's what i got told as i couldn't pick it up) as to thats why it won't appear, so i have only 64gb and only got like 8 gb left already so i'm screwed and i can't even call seagate as they close at 5 and i don't get home til just after then

and on top of that, i don't even think i can return it to ebuyer as thats where i bought it from and they just say to me to call seagate up so i'm pretty much screwed

Ebuyer should replace it as it should be covered by their warranty and you only want a replacement.

Does it make continuos clicking noise when you turn your machine on? It should be picked up by the computer if not.

The problem as well with taking it to shops to look at is unless they know they can con money out of you they don't normally take a proper look at the problem. If they knew your parts were in warranty.

It's not bad, but not great either.
Will be able to play PES on high settings but most graphic intense games on medium settings.
