Knowing - 6/10

Yeah I agree with the above points, but for me the ending really ruined the film. I also found the film quite predictable. Some nice CG moments though, felt very realistic.

Splinter - 7/10

Very entertaining film. Not up there with the greats horror-wise but still a pretty solid film, reminded me a lot of the old B-m,ovies, with some very good twists and some solid acting.

Rushed? God I thought it was sooooo long winded. Havent even managed to watch the end of I got so bored.

Frost/Nixon - 7/10
Good movie, but you need to be interested in what happend to enjoy it all. I really liked it as I didn't know much about "Watergate".

Reservation Road - 8/10
Really good drama about a hit&run with Joaquin Phoenix and Jennifer Connely.

Knowing looks good, can't wait to see that. Although they are nearly always dissapointing in the story stakes.
 
Austalia Nicole Kidman/Hugh Jackmen:

6/10, most of the movie was lacklust and boring. maybe its because the subject at hand diddnt appeal to me. i thought this movie is a action/adventure movie given by what the trailers show you but far from it.

It did however finished strongly and was impressed with the ending but felt as a whole, the movie dragged too much.

the movie was nearly 3 hours as well!
 
We watched Wallander yesterday, 3x90 minute movies about the Swedish detective, played by Kenneth Brannagh and an all English cast, really enjoyable, Southern Sweden looked stunning and makes us want to explore more when it warms up a bit :)

It was a long film - but I never felt bored. The end felt a bit rushed to me. Then a couple of other bits sort of did, chopped and changed a bit.
 
I'm waiting for Crank 2 also, I need to watch some quality high concept shit.
 
Crank - 8.5/10

Awesome stuff, even though the ending let's it down slightly I can forgive it :)).
 
12 Rounds - 4/10

I wasn't expecting much going into the movie, but damn, John Cena really was a block of wood as an actor. The film was really over the top and exaggerated. Pretty bad. Had some good action moments but a terrible plot. Probably only worth 4 of the 12 rounds.

Yeah seriously bored. It felt like a cheap rip off of Die Hard 3, but absolutely destroyed anything that was good about that film.
 
You should have changed the ratings system to an out of 12 just for that film :D
