Burn After Reading

Watched this last night, thought it was rubbish. The plot was shit and I'm still not sure I fully got it. George Clooney made me laugh a couple of times though. I want those two hours of my life back. :(

My mate said it's one of the worst films he's seen and the plot was rubbish.

He did say "Battle In Seattle" is brilliant too.

Just saw Tropic Thunder and Where In The World Is Osama Bin Laden.

Cant really say one is better than the other.

Never really laughed hard with TT and I thought some of the jokes were lame.

The Osama flick is like half serious/half not so serious documentary...and the 'funny' title is kinda misleading.I thought its gonna be somewhere along the lines of Borat.

Burn After Reading - 4/10

Brad Pitt the only reason this gets a 4, he injects a fair bit of the comedy into the film. Not worth seeing!

I did warn you it was shit miguel ;)

Has anyone seen This is England?

I have to watch it for class before next week.

Yeah, its not a bad film at all. A touch dark and depressing in places but its worth seeing at least once

I watched the new Batman last night

Heath Ledger was awesome as the Joker, i don't think i have ever seen such a good character. Maybe that's down to the script but whoever it was down to it was brilliant

and ill give the film a 8/10

I watched Wanted last night and that gets 9/10

Awesome film. It had great action scenes, the visual effects were brilliant, a few plot twists and a bit of humour thrown in at times

Best film i have seen in a while

Zack & Miri - 7 / 10

Funny enough to start with, gets a bit sentimental towards the end but I suppose that was only to be expected. Worth a watch

Tropic thunder: 9/10

i have not laughed soo much in a film for a looong time. this movie so great that this is probably one of the best films i have seen this year. i highly recommend you see this. its a great laugh, almost two hours long and has some brilliant explosion scenes :)

Body Of Lies - 8/10

Pretty good film, lots of action and good acting.

Pretty hard trying to keep tabs on it all though.

If you liked "The Kingdom" then this is worth a watch.

Never Back Down 7/10

Alot better than i expected, one for MMA fans as well because of the nature of the film

Pineapple Express

very funny film there was even parts i had to rewind so i could laugh again  9/10

the fight scene and the door sink combo is especially funny

Hmm no I wouldn't say all the best bits were in the trailer. Vince Vaughan is good at playing the type of role he plays in this.

Radio 1 movie reviewer destroyed any chance of me going to the cinema before Christmas, gave piss-poor ratings to Four Christmases ("Vaughn looks like he doesn't want to be there"), Changeling ("boring", crying from start to finish basically) and something else he said was awful. Plus Edith Bowman managed to ruin the ending, silly tart.

Saying that I don't think many people thought much of the Max Payne movie and I absolutely loved it, I thought the use of the Valkyries was great, looking at the trailer I thought "well that's ruined it" but in the context of the film it worked so well. Just a shame all the best action was all over in ten minutes at the end.

I think Max Payne is a lot like Doom, Silent Hill and Hitman. They're good films for people that actually like the games or appreciate them for what theyre trying to be.

I hate the Doom games but found the film good, but on the other hand I like the Silent Hill and Hitman games and thought the films were crap (ESPECIALLY Silent Hill).

I thought all of the ones I listed were fun to watch. Silent Hill mainly for the way they created the environment and the gross monsters. I think the RE series are very 'meh' films. Doom was fun, especially the FPS scene and the Rock:D

Part of the Weekend Never Dies

Documentary into Soulwax, it's fucking insane. Best musical documentary I've seen.

I'm gonna watch Pineapple Express tonight as well.
