Napoleon Dynamite

The most fucking retarded thing I've ever seen. It wasn't really funny, it didn't really make me laugh. It was just plain retarded. Jesus.

I like it - I like wierd surreal comedies like that, where not much happens.

Its the strangeness of the characters that are funny.

His dance always cracks me up aswell :LOL:

Well, the truth is that I kind of enjoyed it but to be honest I was expecting something like a comedy, so it was a bit of a let down. The film is not bad, don't get me wrong, it's just pretty retarded. Hell, I suppose I liked it then. I'm confused now.

That dance at the end was brilliant, it was just completely unexpected. Brilliant.
 
Nah, I'm not changing my mind really. I had fun throughout the whole movie but the thing is that I was hoping for some "lol" moments, if you know what I mean. That's what kind of made me think the movie was weird and basically retarded. I knew nothing about it when I pressed the play button.

Still, I don't really regret that hour and a half to be honest. :DD
 
I thought "Napoleon Dynamite" sucked too!

With the exception of "The Dark Knight" I really hate most newer movies. :(( Not too many from this whole decade that I liked.

Especially the comedies! Will Ferrell is not funny! :TD:
 
In my opinion Napoleon Dynamite is not supposed to be a laugh out loud flick.

Let's be honest very few movies are, the type of movie that I piss of laughing are Jackass like, no story, just a bunch of funny scenes, it's not even a "movie" in the classic way.

I don't remember any other movie I laughed the whole flick.

Napoleon is a very enjoyable film, you feel so good at the end of the dance scene.

Oh I remember one movie I laugh really hard, but only at the credits,
It's Let's go to Prison or something like that, with that guy who is married to that SNL chick.
Best credits I've seen in a while, stupid movie thought.
 
Pineapple Express - 8/10

VERY funny movie which got better as it went on. Rogan was his usual brilliant self, but I felt Franco was the funnier in this one. Top comedy :DD
 
The Promotion

Watched this a couple of nights ago and thought it was an interesting film. It wasn't disgracefully bad but it wasn't great either, more like entertaning. It felt a bit weird to watch "Stifler" playing a different kind of role.


Garden State

Watched this again last night. It gets better everytime I watch it. Zach Braff and Natalie Portman are amazing. No doubt this is my favorite film. :))
 
Napoleon Dynamite - 5/10

Drab movie, annoying characters and not particularly interesting film in any way really. A few moments which made me smile but other than that, wasn't worth watching.
 
Tom Cruise was meant to be very good in it as well

Napoleon Dynamite is indeed a huge pile of wank.

Going to see Pineapple Express tonight, should be quality
 
Pineapple Express - 9 out of 10

Quality film, some really funny moments and one of the best fight scenes I have seen in a film in a while :DD
 
Forgetting Sarah Marshall - 7/10

Good enough, made me smile but not really laugh. Thought Russell Brand was very good :))
