The Master League adventures thread

I've inserted the prem and championship team kits now and started a master league as Bolton on top player. Beat Leeds 3-1 after going a goal down (header from a corner ) really enjoying it , the game felt like a proper division 1 tie .
 
Really loving the ML this time. The last ML I played thoroughly and enjoyed was PES 2010. This one trumps almost all past MLs I've played. I get absolutely sucked in all the stats :D

I've started a Liga Adelante career with Cordoba as they're all licensed along with La Liga anyway so thought it's just easier for the time being until I'm fully done the English leagues. Started on Professional, which I always thought was the most balanced, then my last games were too easy winning 6-0, 8-0 and 6-0. Moved to Top Player and felt a better challenge, so I'm sticking with this for now. Maybe Liga Adelante feels easier overall so I'll stick to Top Player until I hopefully get promoted to La Liga and see if it gets harder there.

Really loving this and really addicted. Can't wait to get home and finish editing the Sky bet Championship too :)

EDIT: Oh I've had a player I bought who's supposed to be my star man injured on his debut and was out for 6 weeks :(

Another from my Master League. Had to draw with or beat Basel to qualify for the next round of the Champions League (after PSG absolutely destroyed the group). Not only did I beat them, but I annihilated them, with the 4th goal being the pick of the bunch.

I just love that you can win one match so easily, and then get beaten just as easily in the next match (I lost 4 - 0 to Spurs - as you guessed, no videos for that one!).
 
Still not sure how to tackle this ML.
Was going to turn the Portugese League into Bundesliga, but not going to bother as the flag will annoy me. Not sure 100% of the additional teams being added to European Other Teams, but think HJK are one, so will replace them with Dortmund I think and if another team from Scandinavia then I’ll put Celtic in, any other teams I may move might look at possibly adding a Gala and/or Fener too if I decide to move over a Basel or the Ukraine teams or such and add them to the PEU.[/FONT]
Will probably just elect to use 20 teams from some of the non-represented teams and use the PEU League as my league, doesn’t look like a 2nd league is represented in PEU.
Just putting together a spreadsheet with the made up PEU teams, and will be looking to put in 20 teams including most probably my fictious teams Banilla FC.
Downloaded some kits, emblems and stuff, so inserting them on any on-going basis, and hopefully the updated roster will be out soon as well as the new stadia and teams. So I’ll not start the ML until these have been added as 9 teams for the other Euro teams are poor as is the number of Stadia.

Not going to be overaccurate on kits, if I can find them or make them as near as possible that'll do me. Same with players I'll probably see if I can at least find players of their nations and put them in the relevant teams, but not overly fussed.

Hi Mate, there is one on Youtube that is linked with PESUniverse, think there is a PES World too.

It does seem pretty basic.

They guy on Youtube gives an explanation which seems pretty straightforward.

Only thing is there is only limited kits at the moment, although I'm going to look into it further.

The kits I've saw so far are just German and English though as yet.

On Xbone so having to do the editing myself, I'm halfway through the Premiership but just thought I don't actually know if the data pack will wipe all my work once installed!!! Anyone here know whether it will or not??

They're surprisingly easy to do. You just download them and copy them to a WEPES folder on the root of a FAT32 USB. Go into edit mode then choose data management, copy the stuff you want i.e. uniform, so the kits get copied from USB to PS4, then go into each team and simply use the paste option in the team kit section.

I think I got the kits from PESgalaxy.

I can't give enough praise for this game. Honestly, the variety in each game is unmatched. Is an absolute brilliant feeling going from being hardly able get a sniff on the ball in one game, and the next game absolutely dominating from start to finish (without changing the difficulty).

I just gave Bournemouth a 4 - 0 battering at home. It was Ross Barkley's first game, and I have to say he is bloody brilliant on this. All 4 goals were great (spoilered below), and got better with each one.

A couple of dodgy through balls (still think the advanced system is broken) but otherwise the amount of passes in the build up makes this goal even more special.

My favourite. Can't even explain why - I guess it's just not one of the sort of goals you score in a football game.

Might elect not to do the PEU League now.

Think I may just juse the PEU League as the Bundesliga.

And I'll use the 3 German spots to some other European teams (1 being Celtic, got their kits :) )

Then I'll just use the Portugese League as my main league, and add my Banilla team to the 2nd division.

Decided to just use Banilla in the Portugese league.

Still need to sort out the league, got some details, will see if kits are available int the time the new DLC comes out, however if not I'll attempt and make some, although not overly fussed, even if the colour scheme is about right that should be enough.

Amended the PEU Lge to be the Bundesliga, changed all emblems and changed team names, managers and stadium names. Just starting to put in official kits (got online so just a case of pasting). In terms of players I'll just go through the roster and see how many players I can find, but for the remainder of players who won't be found I'll just throw in frees and stuff to them. Although players will be last until the DLC comes out.

Added Celtic in with updated kits. Messed a little with Roster, may update a little more but not sure.

Next up will be Italian 2nd division, although I think I'll just go with editing the names and emblems, maybe manager and stadia, but not bothering with strips and rosters.

Already updated all English leagues.

So probably a few more days of editing and I'll be good to go.

Think I'll get the kits and whatever else I can done, and then just wait it out.

Will play some of the tournies AFC, S.American etc etc.

I just started a ML with PES United playing the PES League with all the other fantasy teams and the standard ML squad.
I kinda like it more then just picking a real team cause I like the idea that I have to find out myself who the potential future stars will be.

As I'm just a casual player I'm having a hard time on professional difficulty but I'm having alot of fun with it lol

My team chemistry is 82. First season - late december.
I signed two solid players with 75+ rating on loan and right now they pretty much carry the team. As I'm at the bottom of the league though right now and I just realised that it will be hard to resign some of the young players I planned to build the team around. Hope to perform better from now on otherwise I fear my first season will end up in a disaster.
I got some manager offers from other clubs the most interesting one is from Birmingham City but only few days left to make a decission. I think I will rather stick with this team for now though. :BRMM:
 
Started my Arsenal ML today, though only had time to squeeze in one match until later this evening. Lost 2-0 to Chelsea in the Community Shield final, they scored both goals in the opening 15 minutes and I couldn't break them down to get back in the game!!

Signed Castan from Roma to bolster my defence, although it's taken a very large chunk of my budget so that will be it for signings until the January window.

Sent Martinez on loan to AZ Alkmaar for the season and Belik has gone to Malaga for the season.
 
I have started a test-ML with Sochaux in Ligue 2 on superstar, until I finish doing kits for Ektraklasa and Malaysia Liga Super (I know, I like crazy small championships but I am fed up to always put Bundesliga and J-League :D ). I have no problem scoring, but for now I suck at defending. After the first 3 matches I scored 6 goals and conceided already 11!!! On last position for now with the worse defense of the league XD

are most of the goals you receive from the AI the same?

i mean, are most of the counterattacks with the attacking player 1vs1 the keeper and then low shot to beat him?

That's all the goals i receive from the AI i think, oh and the occasional FK by Junihnho Pernambucano's soul
 
So far I have seen a good variety of goals from AI, but maybe cause of my poor defending that makes even teams of Ligue 2 look like a mix of Brasil '70 and Holland '78
As for free kicks and pk, I didn't see a single faul so far. I truly hope that they will patch it and add more fauls
 
Yeah playing better on defense is also my main goal right now. Last game I played vs Ehrenhofstadt...I was ahead on possesion and had some chances but couldnt score. Suddenly they scored twice and I was behind 0:2 at HT...made some subs and was able to score a late equalizer (85th min) even though they changed to a defensive formation. I thought "ok need to win this now" but they changed formation again to offensive one and boom they score the winning goal in stoppage time lol
Lost posession while moving forward..long pass one touch low shot and keeper was beaten of course...the defender was there but somehow I couldnt stop it :THINK:
 
Updated all the emblems and names, so leagues are ready.

Just waiting on the update to add a few teams and then that'll be me.

Might edit a few Portugese strips as best I can and then I'll start off.

Won't be till after update though, so a month away. :(

I'd rather stick to reading this thread than the PES thread. It's filled with the usual negativity and people say it's all positive and people get banned for being negative fgs :LOL: Wish I can ignore that thread but I'm a mod and I have to read every single post and it gets quite depressing..

Anyway! I'm really enjoying this game and have scored some really neat goals in ML. I'm still playing my Liga Adelante and on Top Player it feels just right for now. My team spirit went up to 92 now. I keep getting offers for my well performing young players but I'm not selling, well not for anything less than $30m, which I know they won't pay anyway ;)
 
I've started a rehearsal ML with Olypique Lyonnais and i'm having a blast.
Lost the Frznch Super Cup against PSG (5-3).
Then had two wins against Toulouse and Rennes.
Third match of the season was away against PSG and this was another cracker...took the lead twice, but PSG eqaulised. Then they scored a third one and Lyon equalised. Just before half time, the inevitable Zlatan scored again.

In the second half i chased after an equaliser and in the 87th minute sub Benzia scored. After that both teams could have scored again, but in the end it stayed 4-4.

The hardcore people will say that this is an unrealistic result...i enjoyed it.

PS: i'm a Spurs fan, if Spurs-city would have been a PES video, some people would have said that this was an example how bad PES is: bad defending, bad GK's (well one),bad refereeing and easy goals....

You'd never get a 4-4 against the AI on FIFA, you're right, it is a failing and something PES does allow to happen (and it happens in real life, as you say).

I started an ML as Burnley on Superstar, won 2-0 in my first game against Huddersfield and then drew 2-2 twice with goals in the last five minutes, followed by a 4-4. I switched it down to Top Player to see if it made much difference, and I won the next game 4-0, so immediately switched back.

It's a shame there's no balance - I've not had a game against the AI with less than two goals yet...!

That said, it's certainly fun, up until the CPU scores and you see all the same "cheats" from the darkest days of PES.

It's stopped me playing it for the time-being (but the upcoming patch sounds good from what Adam has said).

Why would you never get a 4-4 in FIFA, lol.

Is it because the computer is that brutal at attacking? Sorry, whenever I saw FIFA 15 (not unlucky enough to have saw 16 so far) it seemed you just ran past everyone and hit a shot and goal. Maybe my nephew was really good at it?

Noticed for Corinthians Vagner Love plays for them, love his hair, might be someone I might try and buy for my team.
