Okay, i kinda forgot how intense and rough the derbies are on PES 17, and this was no exception.
Me going in with a string of great games and a solid 3rd position in Serie A vs a Sampdoria second to last in the table.

Gloves came off straight away with 4 yellow cards for Sampdoria in the first half, should have been a red too if the ref had the guts to call a second yellow for Ricky Martinez
Game was dictated by me, created a lot of good chances first half and was 2-1 up.

Second half was just a battle to not get scored on some nice Sampdoria piled up a lot of chances, Muriel and Quagliarella being a real threat constantly.
Kept a cool head defending and managed to get myself a third goal and that was the final result

Going well mate - Nothing better than a win against your rivals too! I have always found that PES captures the intensity of a Derby really well, you definitely see a change in gameplay and aggression from the CPU.

Well Vince was able to navigate a rocky start to taking over Houston but managed to pull the club out of the relegation at the last match of the season. And will be staying for second season at Houston, but with the major turnover of the squad for this off-season. Can we rebuild the club and avoid relegation places next season. Stay tuned for my next livestream to find out.

Here's something that I found quite interesting in my K-League campaign. When the award for Europe's best player was awarded, an 80-rated midfielder got first place in a runaway vote! Even though Evander has had a solid career from his Vasco da Gama days, it's still very interesting that an 80-rated player would win this award. Thought it was cool.

That is a bit unusual although something similar happened with Igor Jesus and my Santos save - He was only 76 OVR at the time but he ended up with a ridiculous amount of goals one season, I think it might have been over 50.

He won the South American player of the year even though there were a number of better players than him in terms of OVR.

some weird choices from the jury there, and to put in to perspective, they must have been outstanding vs players being really good in really good leagues.

Since I'm already through to the last 32 on my Europa League campaign, I pretty much play the 2 remaining group stage games with a very reserve heavy team
Lost to Utrecht away 1-0

And a very tough, unexpectedly tough to be honest home game Vs Delfino Pescara.
Trailing 1-0 after the first half and had to really make changes in both tactics and personnel for my second half, with a lot of pressure on them I got both 1-1 and 2-1 mid 2nd half, though every push upfield had a lot of risk involved since their counter game was brilliant.
One of this seasons toughest games for sure.


Then down to the south for an away game Vs Napoli, extremely close and rough affair, could have gone either way but saw me winning it.


I will play Lazio at home next, should be a great but tough game

Is that PES 17? For some reason I always found the Europa league more challenging than the domestic league early in the master league, in my first season I got knocked out by Monaco in the round of 16 but won the premier league with 92 points.

Played a few more games of my mock Master League on eF25 last night - Unfortunately, it feels too forced trying to make this work and there are just too many features missing to feel any real sense of enjoyment after a while. Players do not age, there are no injuries, fatigue or transfers. I knew all of this before I started but it has become glaringly obvious as to why so many people have turned their back on eFootball.

Sorry Milloss - I have been meaning to come back to you on this but you are right, what an amazing story and great to see Santos back in Serie A.

I have been following their progress a bit after my ML save and noticed they have done pretty well in their State League. They have the semi final against Corinthians tomorrow.

It will be interesting to see what Neymar can bring and how they do in Serie A. Like you say I was never really his biggest fan but he clearly has so much talent and it must be amazing for the fans to see him back home.

Managed to get my PES21 J League ML going last night after my false start with JEF United on EF25.

The option file that I used is about 12-18 months out of date so I spent some time messing around with transfers and squad building then it was good to go.





JEF United are currently playing in J2 so they are not in the option file. I have created a randomised default squad made up of most of the lowest rated Japanese players in the game plus 3 Brazilian players (Edson, Victor Sallinas and Lucas Barcelos). J League rules will apply, meaning we can only have a maximum of 5 foreign players at any given time.

Overall, it is a pretty poor squad which will hopefully mean I can add some longevity to the save whilst we build up to a title challenge and possible Asian Champions League success. I have gone for a mix of youth and veteran players in order to balance the team and need for transfers. Our better players, Kida, Takahagi and Niwa are all 30+ so the time we have to get the best out of them is limited.

Wakatsuki and Bangnagande look the most exciting of the youth players. Hopefully they can stay with us right throughout the save.

I managed to play the first game, a tough opening day fixture against Gamba Osaka. We made the worst possible start, going 1-0 down after 5 minutes. A deep cross caught us off guard and a veteran Mario Balotelli swooped in with a powerful header.

We rallied around and responded well, growing into the game we managed to get the equaliser just before half time. Kida snuck into the box with a late run to tap home from a brilliant low cross by Konno.

The second half was a bit of a stalemate, but given the difference in quality right now a 1-1 draw felt like a good result.

Really interested to see how we do this season given the quality and size of the squad. Let’s go Chiba

15 games into my JEF United ML now and the league is starting to take shape:



We have managed to find our feet and sit in a decent mid table position. Despite only losing 2 games so far we have been massively hampered by draws and a lack of goals. Unfortunately the quality of the squad just isn’t good enough to blow teams away but we are doing well to grind out results when we can.

A solid mid table or top half finish would definitely be a good return in our first season given the players we have at our disposal. The league is so tight with just 7 points between 1st place and 10th. A decent run could really see you jump up the table. There are no real runaway leaders yet.

We have had some great moments recently, a 1-0 win at home to table toppers Kawasaki Frontale has been a particular highlight.

We are also through to the Last 16 of The Emperors Cup after seeing off Consadole Sapporo on away goals. We meet Kawasaki Frontale in the next round with a two legged tie looking pretty interesting given our recent victory against them.



All in all, a solid start with room for improvement as we approach the midway point of season 1.

Pretty damn good start mate, I'm sure it'll improve even more, the draws can set you back quite a lot, but the rest of the table seems to be suffering from draws as well.

Nice one Rock, definitely happy with the start we have made. The mid-season transfer window opens in a few games, funds are tight but might look to add an attacking player if we can. As you say, the league is so tight that a couple of good/bad results can really make a difference.

I am playing PES 6. I edited over some French and Dutch teams to have 24 English, Italian, Spanish, and German teams. I am doing a ML in all of them with a team from the second division.

I am using 1860 Munich for the German league because they had a lot of young German players. They had Lars Bender, Sven Bender, Schafer, Baier, Fabian Johnson (switches to USA), Tschauner, Cholevas (switches to Greece). I only buy 4 players a season and I am keeping the team 60% German.

First season in the 2nd Bundesliga I came in first. In the second season, I came in sixth.
I am a quarter of the way through season 3 now. I am in second place. I won my group in the CL qualifying.

I created Robert Lewandowski as a free agent player based on his stats from PES 2008 or 2009 that I lowered. I signed him in the second year. Other big names that I signed are Ribery, Grafiti, Skrtel, Luis Suarez, and Miguel Veloso.

I am a quarter of the way through the season. Bayern Munich are doing terrible. They are in 10 place. Kahn retired so their GK is terrible.

Just past the half way stage in season 1 of my JEF United save and we have maintained our mid table position. Goals and wins have been hard to come by but all in all we are still going well with what is a very poor squad.

There are a lot of inconsistent teams in the league meaning we are actually in touching distance of the top 4 despite our lack of wins. Kawasaki Frontale have put a solid run of results together to establish a 5 point lead at the top of the table.



Unfortunately we could not match our league result over them in the Emperors Cup tie. A 1-1 draw in the first leg set up a really interesting second leg away from home. It was a fairly even game but we tired as the game went on and Kawasaki’s extra bit of quality shone through. They nicked a goal late on and we never looked like getting back into it after that.

Given our squad depth it was probably the best outcome and we can now focus fully on our league form until the end of the season.



The mid season transfer window presented us with an opportunity to strengthen. Funds are tight but we managed to pick up two exciting young players. Our problems in attack are obvious so adding some quality in our forward positions seemed like the sensible option.

Meshino joins on a free transfer, the young AMF has decent potential and gives us another option.

Oda is the one who excites me the most. He is only 19 and already has pace to burn. He joins from Vissel Kobe and definitely looks like a player we can develop as part of our long term squad.





Due to a couple of red form arrows, Oda was straight into the starting lineup for his debut against Gamba Osaka. It was the perfect start as he bagged a brace and caused absolute chaos whenever he had a chance to run at their defence. He looks a real talent 🙌🏻



Hopefully the new signings will give us some much needed firepower as we head into the second half of the season looking to climb the table.

Cheers @millossobek 👍🏻 I am definitely going to try and make the squad building as realistic as possible to hopefully add some longevity to the save.

We have a lot of younger players too so it will be great to see how they develop over time rather than just replacing them with some ready made players.

Meshino definitely looks promising so far and he is already pushing for a first team spot.

I decided to use the ML default players (team Winning Eleven Japan). I kept their colors, their stadium, just made a more fancy kit.
I registered myself in the team.





I've decided to make a kind of World Superleague with some low to mid tier teams only.

I'll be in League B, 2nd division.

Season 1 of my JEF United ML draws to a close.

We had a really strong second half to the season, the new signings of Oda and Meshino definitely added some much needed quality to the team as we lost just 3 of our last 18 games.

We hovered around the Asian Champions League qualification spots and at one point we were just 3 points behind the league leaders, in reality we were never likely to sustain any kind of title challenge. Vissel Kobe won the Emperors Cup meaning a top 3 finish would be needed for Champions League football, however we just fell short. To be honest, it was probably for the best. The squad is still small and in the process of a build, hopefully next season we can push for a top 4 finish.

The title race was incredible, with no team seemingly wanting to take the opportunity to win it. Yokohama Marinos, Kawasaki and Urawa all dropped points during the run in (We defeated both Marinos and Kawasaki). However it was Marinos who went on to win the league on goal difference.







A few star players to mention for us - Yajima was our top scorer with just 9 goals, however he had a good run towards the end of the season and won some crucial points for us. Our striking options still need work ahead of the pre-season transfer window opening.

Takahagi was our captain and veteran in the middle of the park. He will be 35 next season but clearly still has a lot to offer the team, his passing ability is right up there.

All in all, a really successful first season given the relative size and quality of the squad compared to the rest of the league.

Let’s see if we can build on this and push for Champions League qualification next season. JEF United were the first Japanese club to win an Asian Continental competition, but they have not played in the Champions League since 2005!

Season 2 is underway but I just wanted to give a quick update on our pre-season transfer window activity.

We lost two players - Victor Sallinas returns to Brazil with a transfer to Serie B side Náutico. Nozawa, our backup GK, refused to sign a new contract and leaves on a free transfer.

Lucas Barcelos was placed on the transfer list after a return of just 1 goal last season. Unfortunately, and maybe not surprisingly, we did not receive any bids so he remains in the squad for now.

As a result, we had a couple of gaps to fill as well as trying to add a bit more quality to the side with a pretty limited salary budget.

Yoshimaru arrives on a free transfer to provide a backup option to Hatano. Hatano is still only 20 and the plan is to stick with him as our long term number 1 - His performances were excellent last season, despite his low rating.

Kikuchi also arrives on a free transfer following his release from Vissel Kobe. The 25 year old looks to have some decent potential and comes in to take over from the aging Saneto (32) and Niwa (35).

Luongo arrives from Middlesborough for a fee of £1.2m. The Australian International adds some strength in depth to the middle of the park and looks like he will be a key player for us this season.

Suzuki is the man we are pinning our hopes on in the goal scoring department. Defensively, we were sound last season however we definitely need to add some more goals to our game if we are to sustain a high placed finish in the league. The Japanese forward arrives from Belgian side Beerschot.











Overall, the squad is looking much better ahead of season 2. Wakatsuki has plenty of potential up front, but he is still only 20 and hopefully we can bed him in a bit more easily now with Suzuki up front to share the load. Meshino and Oda should also be able to contribute further now as they begin their first full season with the club.

Definitely adds to the fun mate, and the realism.

I have found that it prolongs some of my saves too as you have to build the squad more organically, rather than just filling it with superstars once your funds start to grow.
