Josip Skoko (Glencibigli or something like that in Turkey) to Wigan Athletic.
I know Skoko quite well (he played at Racing Genk) and he's a superb and underrated player...

You guys who don't follow portuguese soccer miss a supershow we have every year, that keeps us going while soccer is away from our lives and boy is it FUNNY! It's the Benfica Superstar Failed Transfers Show, a huge thing that happens every year and which has no paralel in europe (tell me if there are clubs in your countries that compare to this, I'm curious).

Check it out, this is all failed transfers confirmed either by benfica, the player, his representative or the selling club. It's amazing!

It's not all "rejects", some players don't reject benfica but the deal falls apart (like Kalou in which the wrong approach was made to feyenoord and they closed the door and left the deal in the hands of police lol).

The Benfica list of aquisicions is a anual "soap opera" we have here in Portugal, I don't know if it has any paralel in Europe.

Poor Ronald Koeman.

PS - Update: Now it's Saviola take 2. Trying Saviola again, barça want's him out, benfica want's him in but saviola doesn't wan't benfica. Who would guess that?
