Been told that Sidney Govou is coming for talks with West Ham next week.

West Ham also monitoring Obinna, Jermaine Jones and Robert Pires.

Does Tottenham need him though with all that attacking midfield talent if they weren't to sell others? Not sure about that... of course any team could use a player like him but I mean, there are others who could use it more than Spurs.

Sounds promising then.

We are constantly being linked with Joe Cole and it seems that we want one more of that type to go along with Luka and Niko to a lesser degree. Cole's wages would be silly though so I'd rather take the younger option.

You need a top level striker I think. Someone that can back 20-30 goals and do it against the best.

Yeah plus as good as Arda is, he's young and can and probably will get better. Maybe even much better which will make him one of the world's finest! Joe won't though. If anything in a year or so, he'll be going downhill.

Plus then he'd have played for West Ham, Chelsea and Tottenham! :D lool

Defoe can hit 20 and Pav, Courch and Keane are still 3 other quality forwards, each offering something different and will each get their fair share of goals too. I wouldn't be looking for another striker if I were Spurs. They already had no place for Keane this year and he still has a lot to offer.

The striker will come, just need to be patient and make the right decision.

Having said that waiting till August would probably be too late.

We'll have Arda, if no one wants him and Galatasaray fancy getting rid of him for about £150k or so.

We'll give em Jonathan Spector in exchange, proper sweeten the deal...

those papers just spew credibility, aren't they?

and if it's true, barca is turning into real/celski, thus the decline will be near. barca's season winning streak won't last long.

Robert Lewandowski is already in Dortmund and has passed the medical, only need to finalize the transfer fee :)
