Re: Speculation Transfer 07/08 Thread

Fernando Morientes(Valencia) --->>> Galatasaray SK

Fernando Morientes could yet be on the way to the Ali Sami Yen Stadium after Galatasaray tabled a 5 million euro bid for the Los Che forward.

The 31 year old managed an impressive goal tally during the 2006/07 season despite a series of injuries. His return to form alongside David Villa followed a harder time during a difficult spell at Liverpool.

Now, in an attempt to better last seasons disappointing 3rd place finish, the Cimbom are apparently confident of attracting Morientes to the club. However, they must agree a deal with Valencia, as Nandos contract does not expire until 2009.

Turkish footballs restrictive foreigner limits have been liberalised in recent times and the Istanbul club sees Morientes as an ideal acquisition to fill the new berth.

Maybe tonight gala chairman explane this transfer bacause he will attend Galatasaray TV live broadcasting...
