As Tata Martino said, to be champion one of those 3 teams will need to surpass the 100 points line.

Barcelona was lazy in the first half but deserved the win. Had 15 shots on goal and Levante only 3. Xavi had 2 very clear chances and Messi and Tello 2 very good ones, but the Levante goalkeeper (and the defenders) was absolutely amazing.

Atletico was good in the first half but in the second started to fade away. I too fear that's the shape of things to come, unfortunately.

Madrid won easily against arguably ther worse team in La Liga right now and continues to progress.

So, my prediction is a two horse race at the end again, even if I would prefer it to be a three horse race!

Great win by Valencia, beating Barcelona at Camp Nou is really impressive, seems that they're getting instant results for their massive clean-up...

Don't know if I want CAM to win this Liga so as to break the mold, or Barça again, so that Messi is in better form towards the WC.

Shame Bilbao haven't score yet , they are by far better than real , hope they win this one

Also Alonso should have been sent off.

I guess that's why I never really liked bilbao and barcelona. they always see their matches against madrid as a war not just a football game.

Really? Real was running to ref and complaining after every foul so enjoying just like Barcelona

Shame Bilbao didn't win they were far better team than real , but hey they didn't lose so that's not bad either

REAL Madrid get`s an away draw...after leading too. That was a weird red card for Ronaldo. It was a good match lots of tackles. I think a draw was fair result. I hope the red card get over turn for Wednesday`s match up w/ Atletico.

I don't really like madrid for that too. but it's irrelevant to what I said. bilbao and barcelona always use their crowd support to full extent to raise the tension very high against madrid and its players in their home games. it's like they don't see them as opponents but as enemies. it's as if today's madrid players were the soldiers of franco back in the past.

The same treatment Madrid delivers to barcelona and bilbao when they go to the capital. But keep trying, it's amusing.

RM vs Atletico was a good match...very aggressive 1st half.Its harsh to lose on 2 deflecting gols. Jese`s gol was very quick n ruthless .

Costa was being bullied from the 1st whistle to the last.Its fair to say he handle himself w/ a lot more dignity ,unlucky to miss the return leg.

I think atletico should have started game with 2nd team , their players are tired and this can cost in league too

Real was better well deserved win but it was an aggressive game surprised to don't see a red card!

Well, he started it himself by first trying to get a FK by intentionally colliding with Pepe when they were both without a ball, and than few seconds later when he tried to get a PK by pretending that Arbeloa has brought him down. After those two incidents in space of just few seconds RM players started bullying him back.


About Jese...I would love to see him being used more. In last 3 matches he played he scored 3 goals. And yes, he still looses some balls that he shouldn't but he will learn. It must have felt fantastic when he was brought out and whole Bernabeu was chanting his name.

Real Madrid 4-2 Villarreal
Almeria 2-0 Atletico Madrid

Real Madrid is now 1st because they have better goal-difference by 1. If Barcelona wins tomorrow at Sevilla then they will be 1st with all three teams tied on 57 points.

Yes, he's a great keeper indeed, one might even say he's world class.
The thing is, he's not such a "nice" person; he's been talking trash all summer and recently talked down on Mignolet for aspiring to be the 1st GK for Belgium.

Please don't judge about things you don't know anything.
Mignolet and Kaminski started it. Mignolet simply isn't as good as Courtois, our national team usually loosesmatch when he gets his chance (Romania, Colombia, Japan)
If there is one level headed and nice guy, it's Courtois.
And yes Courtois didn't even play in that match.

The truth is that you are beginning to realise that Courtois might be one of the very few players who doesn't fall for the machinations of Mourinho and Chelsea.
Perhaps he will play for Chelsea, but it will be on his conditions...not on Mourinho's conditions. Courtois has learned from what has happened to De Bruyne.

I've seen and read enough to know that he's an arrogant kid, who overvalues himself. Being a good team player, doesn't mean you're a good
person, take Rooney for example.

As for your question: Yes, I don't want to see him (or Costa for that matter) at the club, he belongs to Atlético and he should stay there (with no disrespect meant here) I hope he never gets the chance to play for us, he simply isn't worth it, nor is anyone who dares to disrespect the club's monuments.

PS: I though you'd be the last person to take a hit on Mou, guess I was wrong.

Edit: i know Thiery Hazard, the father of Eden and Thorgan. I guess it's good that you don't know how Eden thinks about Mourinho... he made a big mistake the way he treated De Bruyne. The Belgian Chelsea players talked a lot about that (Eden and Thorgan, Courtois, Lukaku and the 3 Musonda brothers). He lost some confidence there...

I'm tempted to like Mourinho, but sometimes he acts like an asshole. It's not because i defend Mourinho and Chelsea a lot against the Chelsea haters that i agree with everything they do. But it seems toyou that if one doesn't support Chelsea,one is a hater...there is more than black and white, you know.

And reason why people hate "Chelsea" it's mourinho or same with Real Madrid , look what situation was when anceloti was coach or Chelsea/real Madrid and how was under mourinho ;)

I did not say or intended anything, I was just pointing how unnecessary and out of context that whole last paragraph was. Sometimes you take jibes for no apparent reason.

At the moment Courtois is the better GK of the two.
I'm not saying that Courtois will be a better GK than Cech, i Always loved Cech, but at the moment Courtois is the better of the two...

Sevilla really didn't deserve to lose tonight. They dominated almost the entire minutes but were incredibly unlucky with both their finishing and the referees.
