Spanish La Liga Thread

Perhaps Barça will realize they actually need a manager and that Messi is human after all, specially the coach part, there's no such thing as automatic teams. That Jordi guy might be an excellent professional but he's no leader and they lack a leader, badly.

Raphael Varane, what a lovely player to watch, an incredible defender at this age, not only shuts Messi down all the time but scores goals, too!

yeah the guy is really good , and its so "clear" player , glad he start and not pepe , seems like barca need to change something quick , I was glad to see real wining I was possitive about this match before it start

well done Madrid hope they kick united ass too ::P LOL

I was just saying.. Who, How and when will someone stop Messi. Then, a kid from France " Its easy pickets! " said Varane. By the way he`s made of Kryptonite.:WORSHIP:

I`m not sure if those were green laser or varane sweat glands :P Puyol was taught a lesson in gymnastic

So where are those that were bleating on about Ronaldo not being a big game player?

That's the 5000th Clasico he's scored in a row now.

This wasn't a big game.
It was "only" the Coppa del Rey.
Maybe you know better Abou, but i can't remember Ronaldo playing a significant role in a final or for his country when it really matters...
When it really matters, he tends to try and force it by himself. And that is something Messi is doing more and more too, it makes both of them lesser players than they could be.
Personally i prefer players who play forthe team like Xavi Hernandez and Xabi Alonso (not saying that they are better players than Ronaldo and Messi, just that i prefer to watch that type of player).
Did Barcelona play without Villa again ? In the weekend he played and scored. They could certainly do with him.

Bebo, please reread my post.
I haven't said a word about Ronaldo's match yesterday...
When you wrote that last post you were thinking about cheese, i think...

well, guys... we should know this first. a game can be considered as a big one only when ronaldo plays badly in it. for example, in the game against granada of some weeks ago he not only did play very badly but also was the scorer of the own goal caused them to lose. and I say, that game, is simply the biggest one he's ever played in his entire career!

ever since guardiola signed for bc munich the team has somehow struggled. i have the feeling that knowing guardiola won't be back had a huge psychological effect on them.

gerd I dont think youre giving enough credits to real for this win :D

yeah this wasnt big game for Ronaldo , he was playing against one poor deffence , puyol its old now and Pique its one of most over rated player in world I believe , hes not good enough as people talk about him , and hes on best eleven ? honestly ? hes good but not a world class like people make him !

playing against barca seems to be more easy than it was before ... look at granada match 2-1 , sevilla 2-1 , milan lost 2-0 now madrid lost 3-1 , its not more barca who finish match in 1st half scoring 4 goals and than play 2nd half as it was training !

Not exactly in my very humble opinion.
A big game = a final.
This was a game against a big team, not a big game.

"Now,I see" said the blind man.
Villa didn't start the match , but came in for Fabregas that was invisible nearly the whole match. IMO the sub came too late for Villa! And for Barça.

Now I'm starting to wonder if I wouldn't have preferred to play Barca over Real in the CL. I have some hope for the game at OT though. Even though he scored a goal against us, we mostly nullified his presence, especially in the 2nd half. Something Barca mostly failed to do. Even if they were to win La Liga..id think they would see this as a failed season if Milan kicks them out of the CL as well.

Half time in Bernabeu

this is the most boring and cold classico I have ever seen
Mourinho started the game as id he was facing Murcia in Copa Del Rey
am happy for Morata, but that doesn't change the fact that Mourinho isn't giving a damn about this match ..

Messi's goal was very cold and Lopez reaction tells it ..

wooow
Ronaldo and Khedira changed the game ..
it became offensive and we have seen more attempts ..

IMO the ref was OK
all yellow cards were deserved ..

and Adriano dived and he wanted to exploit the fact that Ramos moved his leg ..

anyway, great job Madrid with the 2nd team ..

Why am I never surprised that you say things like this? There is being a fan and then there is believing everything as the gospel truth. It is a foul, thus a penalty. If it happened on the other side of the pitch, you would be asking for a penalty.

I dont like spanish teams, even i hope to see both out of CL, but the last foul of Real was penalty. Also if Adriano would dive would deserve a yellow card, and he didnt get.

Mostly all big teams in every league have referee help, thats a fact.

Barca dogs runing behind refere fucking idiots!

Barca is acting same as real madrid of 2 years ago !

congs to Madrid fans they finaly playing with barca like they are a joke and not fearing them/messi anymore ;)

my point in saying the ref was shitty. if this is a pen, give it. if you won't give it, give yellow card for diving. simple as.

yep also this i did this "print screen" while I was watching match that walls seems over 2 meters more near than what should be ?

This game went crazy once Ramos scored the second goal, until that Lasa was doing just fine in my point of view. As for the penalty, honestly I think Adriano has dived. Very tough to call I must say but my impression is that Ramos removed his leg in the last few moment so Adriano tried to take advantage by diving. Yet, I might be wrong of course.

I think if it was Messi it would of been given ,but Sanchez looks for it nonetheless looks a penalty. Im glad for RM more because they have really stepped it up ! Morata good Lord what a gem of a player!

Is this Mou doing or players know they have to show what their made of.Raphael Varane ,Álvaro Morata , Callejón and Nacho are very exciting !

Exactly my thoughts.

Saw the Adriano situation in German television and I agree with our local reporter, this is never a penalty, but a clear dive.

And btw: I'm so sick of this "classicos", there were far too many over the last seasons.

yep, I thought it was a 100% clear penalty at the first sight. now looks like an intentional dive as in the video above. wouldn't really blame the ref had he given the pen though. very tough call. but still I'd blame him for not having standards throughout the game, he was extremely card happy till a point, from then on he realized it was gonna get out of his hand and very wrongly kept his cards in his pocket even in calls for much harder fouls later.
