Iwas at Bales presentation, and i can confirm that 90% of fans claims "Florentino, Florentino".
"Ozil no se vende" was a slogan that a few shouted a few that were located in the second row of the stadium (very close to the pitch and the microphones of the cameras) but never more than 30 persons.
I can confirm that Florentinos gesture was not directed toward that area of ​​the stadium (30 fans), but the fans who chanted his name, because he understand that the star of the day was Gareth Bale not Florentino Perez.

It was already told that Zamora trophy is not awarded to best keeper but to the one that concedes least goals. So, you can't really compare GK who played in, say, 30 games and conceded 40 goals with GK who played in 20 games and conceded 25 goals.



As for the numbers of titles: please grow up. Goalkeeper do not win titles, whole team of 20+ players wins them. And believe it or not, competition is much harder in club tournaments than in national tournaments. And when you see that Spanish squad is made (mostly) of players from 2 of top5 clubs in the world, you get your picture.

Accepting that someone is better than you is first step to actually loosing. If you don't believe than you are better than how you expect that others will believe that?

Raul : 1994–2010 Real Madrid 550 games , 228 goals

I think Raul deserve it more than anyone else , he played 550 matchs , won many things , he was captain for many years , and he played in nowdays football who i believe its way more quality than was back then on 50s

- 1 Silver ball 1956.

- Member of FIFA 100.
- Medal of Merit FIFA 1994.

Didn't Di Stefano score in 5 European Cup (now the CL) finals in a row or something similar? I'm pretty sure he was instrumental in Real getting their first 5 European Cups.

They gave their heart out to the club since they were teenager. Casillas was such a phenom that he was playing as starting goalkeeper for the biggest club in the world in Champions' league from the age of 18! He's won EVERYTHING there is to win and is not only a Real Madrid legend but the biggest player in Spanish history with more appearances and more titles won than anyone else.

Raul and Casillas both started senior careers at the club and are Spanish and Real Madrid through and through.

Both incredibly professional, loyal, humble and great guys! They're mentioned in the same breath and should be.

Raul Gonzalez Blanco and Iker Casillas will never be forgotten and future stadiums should be named after them.

Raúl is a LEGEND, my childhood hero.
He is/was a phenomenal player and a true professional, his love for the club is unconditional. I was so pissed when they decided to sell him (force him out) and even more pissed after seeing Schalke's gesture and how Madrid treated him, shameful.

Naming a stadium after him is the least they can do.

I see you still insist in this Zamora trophy argument. If this is a trophy given for the keeper who conceded the least goals, how on Earth would Casillas win it playing in the Galacticos team, which had 7 attacking players on the pitch at once and neglected the defence leaving the likes of Pavon and Michel Salgado at the back?

And your point about the titles doesn't mean anything. All it does is show that Real Madrid isn't the strongest team in Europe, but Spain is the stongest national team in the world. How this is Iker's fault is beyond me!
And I'll go even further by saying that Spain is the strongest team because it has many Barcelona players in it :P

Well if Real Madrid fans don't want Casillas anymore, I'd be more than happy to have him in my team :)

And that is why I have placed Raul above Di Stefano on my personal list. Raul have started his professional career at Madrid, he have earned respect from his team-mates, fans, fans of other teams and has never shown any wish to leave the team. I bet he would still be playing in white No.7 shirt with captains armband on his left arm if RM hadn't signed CR and if Mourinho wasn't appointed as a coach.
