I never realized that diego lopez helps madrid score..

Also if diego is so good, tell me what exactly individual awards he's won as a gk? don't worry i'll wait

if you do not believe in my theory, maybe believe in Fergie. :BYE::BYE::BYE:

Sir Alex Ferguson :
" Casillas wouldn’t have saved the shots that the boy Lopez did, Going out to Danny Welbeck in the first half, going down at Robin van Persie’s feet, coming out and whacking Nemanja Vidic in the head... Casillas isn’t that type of goalkeeper and I think Lopez saved them.”

Because ferguson made a comment about him, that makes it completely true? don't talk nonsense. The way you display and discredit casillas, especially the history he has with the club, surely a real fan would appreciate what casillas has done and does and realize he is a better keeper. Also diego lopez has only had one spain cap, that tells you where he stands in national team with CASILLAS ahead of him.

What a petty argument. You proved a point that your deluded. also nice to see Diego Lopez in that Ricardo Zamora Trophy list. Lastly, remember when Wolfsburg beat Villarreal 4-1? Diego Lopez was the keeper for villarreal :APPLAUD:.

Your argument has nothing behind it. Your just trolling this thread really.

3-0 WITH CASILLAS IN NATIONAL TEAM :APPLAUD::APPLAUD::APPLAUD:

You look only at results or you look at how goals were scored?
1-0: it was a defensive mix-up with Arbeloa and Pique, Iker could do nothing
2-0: just a pure power behind that shoot, I don't know if any GK would stop that
3-0: yes, he could do better with this one

As for Trofeo Zamora: it is the same thing as with "Player of the year" awards. If there is any sense at all in football those awards would never had existed at first place

So Bale has become the worlds most expensive player, I hope that doesn't dent a certain someones ego and continue to make him 'sad'

Zamora does not go to the "best GK" in Spain.

It goes to the GK that conceded the least goals per game during the season, having player a minimum number of games. That is a completely different matter. Valdés is a great goalkeeper, but it is the fact that Barcelona concede so little shots against their goal due to their massive posession that makes him the least scored-against GK.

It does not take into account the number of saves per shots, or the ability to properly jump in a corner kick, or ghe one-on-one skill, or footwork, or any trait whatsoever. Just like a topscorer award just considers goals, not skill or talent or assists or leadership.

I've been wanting to say this for awhile now but keep forgetting.

Congratulations kaleso_87!!

You are the DUMBEST person I've ever seen.

Life must be hard. :P

Bale kissing the badge  They begged Isco to do so but he couldn't do it, his brother kissed it instead. Bale started kissing the badge like a paid vice girl w/o being asked to.

I could totally see Ronaldo's entourage asking Real Madrid's higher ups to transfer a couple of million bucks to Manchester United and label it "additional bonuses" just to straighten out this "issue". If not that, maybe profound sadness will indeed occur. ;)

Ozil seem to surprise everyone

Ramos: “Mesut is a different player. If it was up to me he would be one of the last players to go.

Arbeloa:“I’m a little bit surprised, it’s a shame, and it’s a big loss to the dressing room, on a footballing level and on a personal level too.

“He said goodbye to us on Sunday, but I thought he was joking. He’s very different, there’s no player like him in the world. He makes the difference on the pitch.

Isco:“To be honest it has surprised me, and more so after he said last week that he was going to stay.

“We all know Ozil, he has a lot of quality and he’s a player who is capable of changing a game.”

Wenger, who is fluent in German, impressed Ozil with his message and they spoke Saturday night.Ozil had bigger offers on the table from PSG, there was late interest from Mutd, but Arsenal did the convincing by then. I assume Khedira`s £40m bid was a Oh,well ,we tried by MUTD.

My question is why was Ozil sacrificed ? Bale is not going to RM just for football reasons. A 6 yrs deal...Bale was the face of the EPL! He is becoming the next Beckham marketing cash cow. Ozil is purely football not much to market I guess. Im happy to have him. I`m just shocked and seeing fans all talking about Ozil leaving.

I was really shocked to see Mesut leaving. We were all expecting someone to leave as RM needed to cash in after the Bale deal, that's for sure, however, I think none of us believed for a second that the odd man was going to be Ozil. Personally, I always thought Di Maria meant to be that guy.

As for Mesut, well, I've been told he wanted to leave because of Carlo. Apparently Carlo didn't trust him for some reason. In a WC year you realise the urgency in getting minutes so it was his decision to pack his bags and travel to North London. I wishing nothing but the best (except against the Spurs of course.) :P

I was thinking for a while... Barça got Neymar so Florentino had to shake his deep pocket in order to get a superstar to Bernabéu and then he nailed Bale. You already know this whole hollywoodesque war between the 2 Spanish don't you? However, in the process, both Barça and Madrid lost two phenomenal players (Thiago and Ozil, respectively). Interesting, isn't it?

Yeah Ozil leaving does seem to make very little sense for them but as you said, and also based on some of the comments I'veseen from him, it sounds like he didn't have the trust of the coach.
I think he ll do well in the PL, Di Maria, even though i rate him highly, would probably fade in the physicality of the league, Mesut seems much better equipped for that.

It will be very interesting to see if having Bale and Ronnie on one side, and Neymar and Messi on the other wil lactually lead to success outside of Spain. Both clubs can lose quite a bit of face through this process.

i think that's just an excuse. perez sold him, knowing that he'll also make a huge profit in doing so and there are not many footballers who'd dare to speak bad about perez. so ancelotti was a better choice.

Really strange to see that fans who want Casillas out of club vote him in ideal team, isn't it?

yeah, that seemed to be a management decision rather than a coaching decision. throughout his entire carreer, ancelotti has never been afraid to display as many talented and creative players as he can. and ozil seems to be a very professional guy, so i can't see that being an issue either.

the truth is, with the way the market is going on nowadays, u can't usually sell the players u want to get rid of. most of the times u end up selling only the players who have a good market. and selling a player like ozil is obviously much easier (and more profitable) than selling di maria.:))

Well I read that the deal was done days earlier khedira spoke he knew about the deal.El Confidencial a Spanish paper are saying Levy phone Perez on Monday to block Ozil`s move ,but Perez said it was done already.I do think Perez was embarrass not to present Bale last week as agreed.I think Di maria was the right target, but Isco `s performance gave RM the confidence to sell for a record fee.
Bale record signing and Ozil record selling, Marca are more pushing the record selling then Bale`s record fee.

The sale of Ozil makes things easier in terms of who plays IMO. Ozil is too good to be rotated in and out of ANY team.

credit to Abou who also felt it wouldn't be Di Maria sold as he adds the most balance out of those options.

I suspect Ronaldo, Bale and Isco are the three definite starters with Benzema and Di Maria rotating with Ronaldo having to push up with the latter.

Marca is an open web, where voting the fans all AT.Madrid and Barcelona too.

Last match out of Bernabeu, the stadium of Granada (90% Granada fans) screaming IKER, IKER. Never screaming CRISTIANO, CRISTIANO, OR ALONSO, ALONSO, OR RAMOS, RAMOS. The real damage that Casillas has done to Real Madrid has been that our own enemies no longer used sports slogans against the team or against cr7 (the best player of R.M.), as had been so far, but in favor of Casillas because they (enemy fans) believe that somehow hurts the Real Madrid.
The huge evidence that Casillas damage the team, the image, the badge, is the fact that the opposition fans support Casillas against the rest of the team.

ISCO IS MUCH BETTER THAN OZIL, YOU WILL SEE IT.
